Does the 2nd Male Lead have equal to or less screen time in the show compared to the ML? Is the actor in the show a good amount or does his arc disappear?

He's underrated internationally, but a well regarded actor in both film/tv. Also his body though DAMN. I remember in Signal there was a scene where he quickly took his shirt off, and dude was ripped :O

The main Female Lead has much better chemistry with the Second Male Lead. When their eyes lock with each other, I feel sparks.

IA. He's very good at kissing lol. Altho then in Reply 88 was with his BFF, so it came out more natural.

Yeah Tunnel was mostly focused on CJH's story as his was the one that started the whole thing. But the SML/FL (That trio) were all intertwined with one another, and everything ended up full circle for our main trio. In fact, Yoon Hyun Min stole the show for me in Tunnel, but that's the beauty of it when a show gives strong stories to all their characters. IA, Tunnel's human story/characters interactions were so rich and had moments separate from the ML. It's what makes the show stand out from other sci-fi dramas.

Kwak played a lot of puppy dog roles which were cute, but nothing extraordinary. But in Alice, he's dynamic! When's he's on-screen, his presence speaks volumes. I feel his torment and angst riddled inside. I hope as you many others have said, that due to Ep 10's revelation helps pivot the last episodes to Min Hyuk's arc. Don't let our Hottie Daddie go to waste here PD/Writer!!

I think it was def. open ended ending. I wish there was a bit of explanation of how he survived the gunshot, with the FL thinking he's dead. And then we see the back shot lol. Maybe, Baska lives on forever whether he's dead or not cheesy but it sends a good message.

Oh yeah. He's played more puppy dog roles other than his villain turn in Chicago Typewriter. Other than that, nothing extraordinary imo. But here, woah!! I love hot men in pain but hiding it inside. Basically stoic on the outside, but softie in the inside (*heart eyes___. gif). I really hope that he does more cold/stoic roles in the future, it suits him and makes him stand out more than his prior roles.

Interesting theory. It's been 7 yrs counting so I'm not counting on a S2. Bummer that S1's ending opened up a possibility for a S2, but alas it won't happen.

Its giving me The Matrix/Terminator/Orphan Black vibes as well! Finish strong show PLS!!

Aww. I feel ya, still watching b/c I enjoy the actors and I'm still invested in the story. I hope SBS realizes a master cut of his clips so we can all marvel at him haha! Wouldn't be opposed to a spinoff show of his character if this were reality. Me to KSY: "Please wear suits and brood in your next drama PLS!!"

Yes. I think that it is engaging story wise, and the actors are all amazing. I do think that the misinterpretation of mother/son is awkwardly displayed here. Back to the Future had something similar, but that was a film that was 2 hrs compared to a drama series. Other than that, don't think too much about the time travel aspects, and go in with a fresh mind.

I'll say this, is that its fairly obvious that the love here is centered on family, but the weird tension between son/mother are downplaying what is actually what I think the show is gearing towards, which is ultimately about family and how that transcends space/time kinda like Interstellar. PD did say that this is a Human Sci-fi drama.

"Kwak si yang has done such an amazing job giving a certain mystery & air of intrigue to this character & they should totally explore this more. " 100%. It just shows you no matter the screen time, that if an actor has a firm grasp on their role that they can leave a big impression. They really need to give him more backstory other than his relation to our ML/FL. I want to see why he got into Alice and how he met Tae Yi and fell in love with her. I think our ML got his lack of emotions from his father.

Haha at "my favorite character is yoo minhyuk, he is so sexy with that cold and focused man aspect. he appears on the screen and i have to pause to appreciate the beauty that that expressionless face has." This 100%. Kwak Si-yang finally has lost that puppy dog demeanor in this drama, and he finally stands out big time here. The angst this man has, giving me JGL Inception vibes with the tortured but sexy attitude in suits!!

The best character and most tragic character is Jin-hyuk!! I would kill to have a spinoff of him or S2 of Alice, if they explored him more. He seems like an anti-hero, and a bit shady but at the same time he has some underlying guilt that's festered up as well that we don't know yet.

Kwak Si Yang in Alice is muy guapo/caliente!! Why couldn't they just center the story on him and KHS??

IA BTW!! I assume for KSY that it was a big deal for him to be signed onto this drama with great actors, who've a solid track record with dramas. It's a stepping stone for actors to jump up to bigger parts/main leads through doing these shows. However my biggest gripe is I seen Tunnel use both the ML and SML in both equal to great fashion, giving both of them pathos and depth. Here, I feel like our SML is more intriguing than our ML and yet his backstory remains mysterious up to now. What gives writer??

The ML is giving The Matrix Neo vibes. Ordinary dude on the surface, but in the end, he has the power and is the key to salvation so to speak. Seems like he will reach his full potential in the end, and end up as the key to saving his parents and putting everything in its right place at the end. A bit bummed that KHS's badassery has been dwindled since the first two episodes. Sigh, when I first read her role, I was like finally the woman is the genius here lol but seems like the ML will be the savior in the end...

He's sexy and cool in Alice. He should've been the male lead lol, or at least have equal screen time to the ML.

Edit: Ooh, what makes him stand out in Alice compared to his other dramas? Like when he's in a scene by himself/others, is it his charisma you feel is overwhelming lol?

He was shooting Private Lives when he found out the sad news :( He seemed to cherish his mom a lot and mentioned that because he had lived alone since H.S, so he didn't see his parents a lot :( I feel for him. He is a sensitive and emotional person in rl, so I hope he hangs in there.
