i want to say just one thing about this drama: I WANT MORE!
it's mindblowingly good. i really hope for a second season one day with some other family and perhaps dealing with some other issues

i'll mention 2 jdramas that i recently watched and both are good examples of leading actors with big age difference.

1st is itazura na kiss- love in tokyo. in this one the difference between the main actor and the main actress is 10 years! and they are playing characters with the same age. the chemistry was awesome between them. well tbh i didn't even know that there was a difference between the age of the two until i checked their prfiles and was shocked. you could never tell that the girl is actually 10 years younger than the guy.

2nd drama that i wanted to mention was last cinderella. this one is, to simply put it, about a 40yr old woman getting/dating a younger guy, to be more precise 24yr old. the story is how it is, chemistry is good between them, nothing strange at all, very natural for a relationship with a 15 year diffrence. and the best thing is that there is no pretending that the age gap doesn't exist. it exists, the plot is made around it. actors are natural with eachother and you can see that there is no awkwardness between them. it was pleasant to watch :)

and that's all i wanted to say, wanted to avert your eyes a bit on the jdramas as well :)

one of the best i've seen. so refreshing. it's funny and loving. and the cast did an amazing job as well, i can't exclude anyone in particular.
i just love it, from the begining to the ending!

WARGHHHHH. It's really awkward and somehow depressing that I accidentally stumbled into a provocative scene of…
hahha, ah silly.. i liked him too much in this role so im affraind that i won't be able to separate him from that role. :P
but then again that depends on his acting as well :)

yeah, him! was some trailer as well, can't remember which. i only watched him in sungkyunkwan scandal and in tree with deep roots (it was a supporting role there, but my god did he do a great job! srsly, his acting there is superb, actually everyone in that drama, superb! i recommend it btw, if you haven't watched it yet :P )

oh thanks :)he's super cute, thats why im so interested in that other side of his :P
i remember when i first saw one steamy kiss scene from song joong ki. at that time i only knew his sweet and silly self from running man.. i was a bit flustered (and a bitsy wished that i was that other girl too :P ), was thinking how that cute face can really kiss like that.. oh boy XD

It's interesting that the reviews say the ending was unpredictable. Honestly, it was very predictable. It was…

Title Last Cinderella Spoiler
In that episode when Miki-san was tricked by that host, I didn't really understand his actions. Why was his story…
he thought that he could swindle some money off of her by offering her a job first and treating her nicely.
as to why was that included in the story? i have no idea, except maybe for miki to more think of herself as some stupid naive woman. at least that what she said to sakura when she came over to her. so yeah, im guessing his role there is only for that.. otherwise is useless, yeah :\

i love this version the best too!! :D
tho i only watched the korean version out of all that are out. but that one bored me from time to time and it seemed like it was dragging the plot a lot, especially towards the end. if i didn't like the anime/manga and knew what was going to happen, i'd probably drop it. characters were a bit weird as well, especially towards each other. the only character i absolutely adored there is seung jo's (irie's) mother. and so far i like that korean version of his mother more.
characters in this version fit the story perfectly, they suit each other, they're natural with each other. irie is more expressive, not just stoic handsome guy who looks down on kotoko. and kotoko isn't stupidly annoying and helpless damsel.
also the plot is progressing nicely, no dragging but not too fast either.

you've put a lot of thought into it, interesting.. but i don't agree on top and leetuk.. can't say why exactly but those two, can't imagine them playing the characters you meant for them :P
