Earth and Mix absolutely crushed their episodes. They made the crossover come alive and their episodes were hands down the best of the entire two seasons imo.
The ATOTS episodes were on entire other level to the rest of the episodes. It continued their story and wasn’t some strange silly plot. They gave us their relationship and how they’ve grown as a couple. Earth and Mix were fantastic, cute and sexy. Couldn’t have asked for more.
This was by far the best of the series. It took Phupa and Tian, a great couple and continued their journey to the best ending. They had the best kiss of the series. It gave me everything I could have wanted from them. Earth and Mix crushed it. Loved it. Wish they could have done this with all of the episodes.
I don’t care if the story is stupid because I’m getting time with Phupa and Tian I didn’t even know I needed. Plus I get to see Earth in a military uniform again, so yay. Ohm and Nanon don’t really matter to me at this point.
And he’s always taking care of him. It’s clear he loves him.
It’s the religious aspect of that I hate too. A person's beliefs end with their body. No one has the right to take other people’s rights away from them other than people convicted of a crime and that’s a while another subject. Now we’ve got states trying to track the movements of its residents and if they’re going to another state for a legal medical procedure their state has banned. It’s appalling. Leave people alone and don’t criminalize love, being a trans person or the right to choose what is done to own own bodies. I’ll get off my soapbox now.

JBL’s are still my favorites in general because they tell interesting and quirky stories better than anybody. If they had better kissing, they’d be perfect, lol.

Well like I said it does seem to be changing slowly. And the weird thing is their movies are much more explicit. And the tv shows that are on after midnight as well. The End of the World With You BL was surprisingly graphic with actual sex scenes. So it’s like the two extremes. Personally I don’t need sex scenes. I’d just like people who like or love each other to kiss in a more natural way.

I’m on my third or fourth rewatch and it’s as adorable as the first time I saw it. They are so cute together. It’s lovely to see a gay couple in an BL act like they are really in love. All the touching, handholding and fascination with each other feels real. It’s such a feel good series.

I have heard that about Japanese shows in general. Maybe it’s cultural, but I think it’s slowly changing. Eternal Yesterday and Old Fashion Cupcake both had more real seeming kisses and that’s progress. For this show, given the wholesomeness and sweetness of the story, the think what they’ve shown is as good as it gets.

That is true, but a kiss can be more real seeming without being sexual. It’s the stilted, motionlessness of the kiss that detracts from the sweetness for me. People generally don’t kiss like that. A soft, gentle kiss is different than what they’re doing. And while it may be appropriate to the manga, most JBL’s have these unmoving lip presses. And for me, it takes me out of the romance of the scene.
