I get that, but then why would he leave the rest of the group alone? I just thought his story was the weakest part of the show.

The Todd storyline makes no sense to me. Why would he try to kill Black if he wants them to take down Tawi? Also, if he wanted to stop them, why wouldn’t he attack all of them instead of just Black? Also I thought the female characters weren’t used for anything except being hurt by the main characters.

I thought this would be awful and it’s really great. They are nailing the cat and dog energy. I loved how Milk only ate the whipped cream. I can’t wait to see where they take it.

I liked how he was patient with his stuttering and told him to take his time answering. The perfect thing to say to someone who stutters. I’m watching that one too. It’s called Kabe Koji for short. If you haven’t seen it yet, Takara- kun to Amagi-kun is another lovely Japanese bl. I absolutely loved the innocence and cuteness of it. The Japanese Bl’s are generally a cut above all the others.

He seems to be much better behind the camera than in front of it.

Mean’s character, Nan adds absolutely nothing to the show. I love Em and Name. They’re the heart of the show. I’m hoping Gun and Golf get better because I love the two of them together.

Totally agree. Hopefully these last episodes will show them in love and together facing whatever comes their way.

This has one of the best opening credits sequence of any show I’ve ever watched. It’s perfect. The show itself is hilarious and touching. Loved it.

Japanese BL shows are my favorite. They’re charming, funny, heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking. There’s just something special about their look and feel. I find myself going back to rewatch them often.

This one was pure romance and all the angst that comes with a first love. They’re high school students so a lot of navel gazing and obsessing is to be expected. I loved it for all the emotion.

I love that this show avoids the obvious BL tropes. When Cake was drunk and Eeiw took him home, I thought we’d be seeing the obligatory body wipe down but we didn’t. There are no super long stares, no stupid fall and catches. Everything just flows from their shared history and it feels so real. That’s why we had so many episodes showing us their close friendship before the uni episodes.

If you go back and rewatch the first few episodes knowing it from Kiyoi’s point of view, you can totally see how his actions reflected his feelings. It’s really subtle and well done.

I think he knows in episode 10. The way he made sure that Seeiw knew he didn’t have any girlfriends while he was away and the jealousy with Tal seems like he's aware of his feelings.

I can’t get over the fact that Koichi played Tanaka in Takara-kun & Amagi-kun! He looks completely different in this. This is going to be a heartbreaker for sure.

So Thua just outed them in front of the entire school? That is totally not ok.

I’m rewatching the show and 2 things struck me. One, Namgung totally knew about the love triangle early on and Tae-Gyeong already liked Shin Woo more than he realized. He felt at ease with Da-On and Da-On’s behavior was a lot easier for him to read than Shin-Woo’s.

I kind of thought they threw the Kurosawa character a bone after being rejected in the two other versions, lol.

I agree. I totally hated that ending. No way do those two end up together.

That’s true I guess. Affection between guy friends is good. There’s enough toxic masculinity pressures on boys and young men. I just wondered about it. Thanks for the input.
