is Jay the president? I'm on ep 10 and he told Jang Kyung Ja to "keep her eyes wide open and watch", its similar to the message that Ro Um got from that guy in prison that accused her of murder for hire?
finishing up episode 6, its so sad.. they all think they betrayed Ro Um but they were all victims. Idk what Ro Um's big plan is but I think she realizes that? She needs them all in order to take revenge on the real culprit. Also, is Ro Um pretending she doesn't feel anything? Her saving Ringo indicates she's hiding her feelings so they won't be exploited as a weakness right?
I am not hating on Jeon So Nee, I think she is doing the best that she can and I don't blame her but there is a significant difference between her acting range vs what the show and other actors are delivering - especially PHS. I am only on the third episode but the character she is playing doesn't feel fully realized by her which makes it hard to believe. This is especially significant when she is on the screen opposite PHS. He delivers an amazing act and then her response to him feels flat - it's just not as impactful. Which once again I don't blame her for - I feel like the casting directors didn't do a screen test? Or they underestimated PHS or overestimated her? IDK it's just off and it's hard to watch. I'm hoping she gets more comfortable playing her character because she looks so lovely and I really want to root for them
I just watched this for the fourth time and I stg it makes me so happy and it makes me cry. I feel like each time I watch, a different aspect of the story resonates with me as I grow through different phases of my life. I remember the first time I watched and I was so enamored by the young love stories between Mi Young/Joong Hee & Ra Yeong/Cheol Soo. The next time I watched I fell in love with the sibling dynamic. Literally their relationships with each other are so real and loving. The third time I watched, I fell in love with Hye Young and just how freaking amazing she is and her relationship with her in laws. This time, it was the foundation this story was built on - their parents. Their love story was the greatest and his becoming a father to Joon Yeong and having to make these tough choices. This is probably one of the best kdramas and I feel like its to underrated.
so gooooooood, loving everyone in this. also yayyyyyy for Solomon, this kid is so freaking talented and has soooo much range. eagerly waiting for the next episodes
she is so talented like its crazy. I look forward to each project she takes on. literally so expressive and she morphs into so many different types of roles and she is able to pull the audience in. she exudes a natural charm and its so effortless.
So don't hate on me please just hear me out. I don't watch BL dramas because I just don't think they're done well? I've never found one that wasn't like overacted and cringey. but DAMNNNNNNNNN Park Seo Ham killed it in this. Like I'm going to be rewatching this.
