Title Descendants of the Sun Spoiler
Hey guys.. I have a doubt.. Please clear it for.. I watched this drama for more than 10 times.. yet i cant get…
first rejection - when they broke up
second rejection - on the little island or when they met again, she wasn't interested in him at all.
third rejection - confess or apologize. she asked him to apologize.

is what I'd guess? lol I remember having this discussion when I watched it too.

why couldn't they do something about Lee Sung Kyung's body?? she's way too thin. They make her…
Not really. Look up 58kg female weightlifters. They don't look THAT huge. The problem is not her, but people thinking a weightlifter has to be huge/fat. She's skinny, but she's never supposed to be fat, just muscular. And she's tall so it comes across that she's "bigger" than everyone else. I think it works.

I really don't see the issue. Look up 58kg weightlifters. They actually aren't that big at all. She's tall and comes across as bigger than the rest of the girls around her, so I think it works. People just have a steretoype that she should be huge and musuclar and that's why there is an issue.

Joe and Ariel were so flawless in their roles and had such amazing chemistry that there is no way anyone can compare. They seriously felt like an intimate married couple in the 2nd season and it was just amazing. I could see other versions being remade (like the Korean one), but the Taiwanese one should be left alone. I'm trash for this series though so I'll check it out, especially if they do a 2nd season with their married life (my fav part).

She didn't actually break up though. She was just thinking about it. :p But that part was so sad. But yeah, it was like 10 minutes and they were back to being adorable again lol

The best part was when the north korean soldier comes to save them, thus repaying his debt. Epic!
I loved that since it tied everything together from the first episode. Really nice.

I agree with most of what you wrote. I'm not a huge fan of the 2nd couple (the one really cliched part of DoTS tbh and I like Dr. Song's couple better!), but I enjoyed that they had their own storyline, and I loved the friendship between the couples. I also loved that Shi Jin & Mo Yeon never broke up once they got together. It was refreshing to see. Kdrama couples always break up and then get back together 5 minutes before the end. Here, they worked through their issues and became stronger because of it. Such a great couple.

Can my love for SJK and SHK overcome my disdain for writer Kim Eun Sook for me to give this drama a go? Ah, the…
She did a good job this time! Seriously, the female lead is wonderful and the male lead is really respectful. KES had a co-writer this time, so that helps. I can't even believe the same person wrote Heirs...

People who dislike it think it's overrated, and are bitter for some strange reason that people enjoy a drama they don't. I don't think anyone can say anything bad about the characters though.

Such a butthurt and salty comment. Grow up and let people enjoy things. Why are you replying to me anyway? Go away.

>Even people who loved Taek felt Jung Hwan deserved Deok Sun.
Nope. There's no such thing as "deserving" a girl. Especially for a guy who can't admit his feelings ever. It's about who she actually likes you know. And nah, my heart never broke for any of these guys. Stop focusing on the guy's feelings and pay attention to the female character for once.

The one thing I really don't understand though is the characterisation of the Future Husband (I'm not blaming…
I don't think you went wrong, so much as the writer was trying to trick you. He did act like JH in some ways, but then again..there was so much pointing towards Taek as well. He smoked, he was being interviewed, he didn't wear warm clothes, he couldn't speak to her brother for years...stuff like that is so obviously Taek.

And you have to consider it's 30 years later. DS taught TK how to curse and he could be sarcastic with her at times. His father said he wanted him to be able to express himself again. So, he just changed.

I just have one thing to say about Taek being Deok Seon's husband: Life is unfair
Or ignored middle child finally got a guy she loved who wasn't afraid to tell her that he loved her and that she was pretty. Life is very fair.

They didn't change the script. Explain that the husband smokes.

now i'm pretty sure that if sw returned ds's feelings and kissed her like taek, he would be her hubby now. if…
No, she was not too dumb. Do not blame her for this! She tried to reach out to him and he ignored her. He's to blame for it and he admitted it. If he had confessed in 1988 he might be married to her now, but he didn't. She had her own life to deal with, and by 1989 she had moved on. You can not ignore someone for 6+ years and expect them to wait. Especially when she was just a young girl with a crush.

JH and SW were people she was told to like. Taek was the guy she picked for herself and said she loved first. SHE MADE THE FIRST MOVE ON HIM. She is not fickle. Have you never in your life had a crush?

Lol at the people who gave this a score of 1 when things didn't go the way they wished to. While I admit that…
Yep. It's so annoying to see. I gave it a 10 because of that. JH is not the center of the universe and the romance was barely the point of the drama. Grow up and respect the writer, and the hard work the actors put into the drama.

And i think JH got closure. He's the loving second daughter of his family and he let go of his never ending crush. What did people really want? To see him with some random girl at the end? I think that would be insulting to his character.

I loved the end. I think it made sense not to know "everything" because that's how it is in reality. People grow apart and you lose touch with others. And TK/DS are adorable and make the most sense. JH is a sweet guy, but you just can't hesitate for so many years and expect it to work out. I'm going to miss this drama lot. I love the family stories.

He did nothing wrong in the first 6 episodes that I remember, so if he annoys you then, you are going to want to murder him by the end (though I like him). Prepare to be annoyed!
