So she didn't date any other guys when they were apart after the accident? That sounds a little ridiculous.
No more so than almost any drama though... All these girls/women who have never even been kissed? And a lot of them in their 20's? Yeah... No. *smh* Lol!
So is this drama worth watching ? , unfortunately I've only heard bad stuff about it ,so i'm starting to wonder…
I'd say that being able to marathon this may not be as painful as having to wait for one episode a week... This show has some extremely strong rage inducing episodes. I really enjoyed this when it started, but at one point they found something they liked and decided to drag it out as much as possible.
I HATE EVERYONE IN THIS SHOW BUT GEUM RAN, HER MOTHER, TEAM LEADER CHOI AND TAE HEE. This is me right after watching…
Hahahahaha!! If you feel like that about this drama, my suggestion to you is to NEVER watch Best Wedding. That show makes me SO MAD, but I can't stop watching it for hopes that bad stuff happens to so many people....
This drama was so far away from what I usually watch, but I was surprised at how good this was! I tend to lean toward romance/comedies, however a friend told me to watch this, so I did. I'm really happy that I did. This was so well written and the acting was brilliant!! <3
I have a lot of empathy for Tae Yeon. He was born into a family that strongly upholds Joseon tradition and made…
I get what you're saying, but he slept with someone else, which pushed Ki Young even further away. I'm not saying that what she did was smart from beginning to end. I feel like if Tae Yeon’s family wasn’t so freaking crazy they would have been close to fine together. The biggest problem would have been Tae Yeon’s obvious distaste for the child. He never once thought about having the child. He ultimately was going to accept it because he wanted to Ki Young, but he wasn’t happy about it. His fix for that was to ask her to marry him so that his family would allow them to be together with the child.
“ well? Then should she just throw her child, if she didn’t wanna scarifies her life because her child then for whom should she??” ~ I don’t understand what you’re saying here…
“Where and when he acted like a 10 year old boy? And can't a father be a father if he was childish?” ~ Acting childish doesn’t necessarily mean innocent. He’s being childish because he’s seeking revenge for things without being absolutely sure of anything. His jealously makes him do stupid stuff left and right, causing him to push Ki Young even further away from him.
I’m not saying that he should live without his son, but to this point he still hasn’t shown that he is interested in being a part of Dan’s life other than playing keep away with Ki Young. <— Another sign of his immaturity.
These writers are doing a great job with this show… They have so many different things for people to see for themselves. It’s like talking to someone else after reading the same book. Not everyone gets the same thing from what they read, but they both get the general ideas. This is just one of those instances that we aren’t going to agree. I wasn’t taking a shot at you or anyone else here. My points are all about how I feel about this show, not to upset other people who think differently. I just need to point out my way of thinking, same as you. We all have different ways of seeing things. I kinda like that not everyone sees things the same. If everyone thought the same way, what would this world be like?
I have a lot of empathy for Tae Yeon. He was born into a family that strongly upholds Joseon tradition and made…
I agree with some of your points, but I just can’t on the Tae Yeon one… We’re going to have to agree to disagree. Honestly, I don’t want her to end up with either one of these guys. They are both just terrible for different reasons.
Tae Yeon’s marriage to a greedy wife was his choice and also in retaliation to Ki Young’s turning him down. He didn’t marry her with his parents blessing or because he loved her. It was a partial revenge thing. And making a child fatherless isn’t an idiot move in my opinion. With someone who behaves like Tae Yeon did, I don’t blame her for not wanting him to be a part of raising a child either. Staying in a relationship with someone for the sake of a child has, historically, never been a good thing. Also, the idea of someone with the mentality of a 10 year old boy raising a child is absolutely abhorrent.
I get that Tae Yeon was wealthy enough to take care of her and the child if she had let him, but that would mean that she would have to get over the fact that he was angry at her for not having an abortion and that awful marriage proposal that he gave her, thinking that that’s what she had wanted. As for the fact that they were in a casual relationship? The show leads you to believe that he purposely got an apartment in her building because he had a thing for her from the start. I think that it was more than casual for him, but that’s just my opinion. I think that he didn’t want her to have a baby because that would take away from him having her to himself.
The part I do agree with you on her trusting Eun Cha… I don’t get what the writer of this show was thinking with that little tidbit. That man is just awful. Worse part is that he KNOWS he’s awful and doesn’t care.
As for the daycare thing, do you have kids? I have a single friend without kids who works in a daycare and complains all the time about parents dropping off kids who are sick. She says that if they are sick they should keep the kids home and not work. Well… If they do that, they get fired. Then they won’t need or even be able to afford to take the child. I’m sure that the same can be said for Ki Young. If she left work to go get him, she’d get fired. If she’s fired then she can’t afford to keep the apartment. There are so many different things that have to be taken into consideration.
This actually cracks me up… I get so worked up over this drama and then conversations like this pop up with other drama lovers!! LOL!! I appreciate that you have a different opinion and I’m not trying to change your mind. We all have different ways of thinking and seeing things. If we didn’t, what fun would life be? And conversations like this wouldn’t exist either. ^_^
I'm on Tae Yeon's side. Cha Gi Yeong forced him into a situation he did not want and Hyeon Myeong Yi forced him…

The IRL part was in reference to the fact that it was EVERYONE is out to get Ki Young, not just Tae Yeon. I mean, EVERYONE. The only person who was on her side from the beginning was/is her female anchor friend, Ae Youn. I'm not to savvy on legalities in Korea though. From some shows they try making it look like a verbal contract is binding. I haven't a clue as to what this would actually do for real in another country. Honestly, almost anywhere in the world you'll find that money talks and she would have most likely already lost Dan.

I'm very happy. I don't live my life wanting to make other people miserable. LOL! Life is too short to be angry at other people like that for any length of time. My point is, and I know that people are different and that they handle pain and emotional situations differently, there are ways to do things. Not saying that everything is black or white or right or wrong. I get the being mad thing, but honestly, this is just overboard. Even for a spoiled rich kid. Just saying that the writers decided to make this one extremely annoying with their characters being such douches. They are evil geniuses. No joke. I keep watching in hopes that bad stuff happens to almost every character in this show, but I know that I'm watching a Korean drama, so I know that this is most likely gonna end with her ending up with one of the two guys and people being forgiven for no really good reason... *sigh* I don't know why I keep putting myself through this, but it's addictive. That's what it is. Korean dramas are like drugs. I'm totally addicted.

By no means at all was I ever implying that Eun Cha was good guy. I will say that both the male leads in this drama are a**es for different reasons. Eun Cha is a grown a** man, but he's well aware that he's a manipulative POS. He admits to it. Tae Yeon is just a whiny, vengeful rich kid.
I’m going to stop now and just say that we have to agree to disagree on this matter. I’m a 37 year old woman who has been through many relationships… Cheating boyfriends… Stalkers… Getting pregnant at 17… Raising a son without his biological father… Meeting someone else… Getting married… I know how it feels to get my heart broken. I know the hatred that can come from heart break. Not ONCE did I ever think or do anything even remotely as bad as the littlest thing Tae Yeon has done. Not once. Once a relationship is over, the best thing to do is move on. Seeking vengeance? What for? Does it make you feel better? Is it helping Tae Yeon? No. All it's doing is driving the person he professes to love further away. Counterintuitive if you ask me. He wants her, but he keeps hurting her and pushing her away. It's like a little boy at the playground that likes a girl so he pulls her hair. Immature. Childish.
Thanks for the update! I was just wondering about this and was gonna go search for what was happening... I feel awful for the loss of a life and it makes me feel bad wondering if the show was going to continue after this tragic event. :(

I understand this show just fine. I get what the writers were doing, I'm saying that if this was actual people then this is some messed up sh*t.
That being said, Tae Yeon isn't this sweet fellow you're talking about. You like him because he had a crush on her and basically stalked her? Found an apartment in her building? And then when he wore her down and they started dating you think that because he bought her stuff and made her food that he's a good guy? Then when she finds out she’s pregnant, asks her to get an abortion… When she says no and gets mad… Then he thinks that marriage will fix it, even though he doesn’t want that either and makes the worlds WORST proposal, which in turn makes Ki Young back off the relationship, at which he gets mad at her and sleeps with someone else… And he then impregnates that person? And when she turned her back on him after that, he MARRIES the other girl? That’s a good guy? Ok, then.
So, the male leads... One is a whiny baby who only seeks revenge for everything without knowing anything and the…
I didn't say anything about him not doing anything for her when she was alone... She wanted that. I'm fine with her dealing with the backlash of her decision (which I still think is overkilled by the masses, but that's a different culture), but the things he did do were to defend her? Like telling Dan that she’s dead? Having the paternity case aired when he knew that she didn’t want that? There’s a lot to be said about being jealous and doing something “childish”, but he’s not exactly being stubborn. He’d only be considered stubborn if he wasn’t going to change his mind, but the way he’s behaving shows that he’s willing to stop being “childish” if she would be with him. The fact that he is using Dan makes what he’s doing completely screwed up. He’s using his own son to hurt the woman he loves. That’s not cute, it’s disgusting.
That being said, I was in his corner for a long time. I felt that his “childish” behavior was over the top and that if he would just speak out plainly and tell her how he had a crush on her for a long time, then things may have ended up better for them, but he took things way too far. His behavior is that of a spoiled rich kid that didn’t get the toy he wanted.
I'm on Tae Yeon's side. Cha Gi Yeong forced him into a situation he did not want and Hyeon Myeong Yi forced him…
She definitely decided to exclude him from her child's life right when she found out that he had impregnated another person while professing to love her... I don't blame her for not wanting anything to do with him. That being said, she mostly wanted him to sign the papers so that his family (which is SEVERELY patriarchal if you noticed by the way Tae Yeon's father is with Dan) to avoid them taking her baby away from her or forcing her to abort, since they weren’t going to get married.
As to the point you made of him keeping up his side of the bargain? He wanted to get her in bed when she was really pregnant and the same day that he got married. Sorry, but I don’t blame her for not starting up that part of the deal that moment either. He also showed absolutely no desire to have the baby in the first place. He wanted her to get an abortion. I think that he just wants her and anything that takes her attention away from him makes him angry. Look at the way he’s behaving toward his son right now. I mean, seriously? Are we to assume that he’s being an a** toward his own son because he didn’t form the father/son bond he could have if he had spent time with Dan? He left the damn country to be away from everyone….
I'm on Tae Yeon's side. Cha Gi Yeong forced him into a situation he did not want and Hyeon Myeong Yi forced him…
What? Tae Yeon had been sleeping with Myeong Yi while he was dating Ki Young all because she didn't want to get married. He was so butt hurt by her not wanting to get married that he had sex and impregnated another woman. Now everything he does is spiteful and childish. He doesn't think things through all the way. All he is doing is trying to hurt Ki Young for the sake of hurting her. It's stupid... Seriously.
You're on his side because she didn't become his mistress, but he gave up his rights as a father? I don't agree with you at all on this, but we are all allowed to have our own opinions.
