Okay, but it's quite obvious that the ML is 'Hyunwoo' ftom Eunha's childhood: for instance, it seemed that Prosecutor Jang Hyunwoo's first encounter with Eunha was when she gave him that umbrella. In that scene, his expression bore no indication of recognition, but just gratitude — I imagine that's where his obsession with Ms. Mini started. Other than that, there are way too many flashbacks of Eunha with Hyunwoo for him to be just the 2ML. Hell, there are even direct parallels between the past and the present (Eunha playing on the swing with Hyunwoo/Jihwan, the kite-flying scene, the way Jihwan/Hyunwoo always saved and cheered up Eunha whenever she was troubled, etc.)
Nvm, I just realised that the synopsis literally confirms that Jihwan is the childhood friend LMAO
I just read the book the drama was adapted from, Eun Ha is from an elite rich family of doctors and lawyers but…
Hmm now I wish the drama had shown Eunha to be from an influential family too. it would've added more depth to her character and we could have gotten a subplot about the societal stigma against certain jobs that are viewed as less-than-respectable (like a kids' content creator(
🤣🤣🤣 honestly, i like the drama so far, but it could have been 12 episodes. I think the stroy dragged…
It's always so fun to read how others' opinions differ from mine. Personally, I was sold on Twinkling Watermelon from the very beginning. I went in without any expectations, then cried twice while watching episode 1. And I could tell then that this would quickly go onto to become one of my favourite kdramas — and it did!
the show is prolly the best one this year so far yet some ppl rated it unfairly.
There are no unfair ratings. People will always rate a show according to their tastes and how much they enjoyed it. It's unfair to expect people to review a show as if they are professional critics
WOAH i just found out that Da Hae's uncle is the hot dad from Green Mothers Club!!! apparently he gained weight…
Exactly!! I last saw him in Hit the Spot a few weeks prior to starting this show and I literally didn't recognise him until someone pointed it out after the last episode 😭
That uncle in atypical family can be the ml 😆 but he should go back to how he used to look before atypical…
it's funny because I legit yelped when I realized that the uncle was the SML in Hit The Spot after reading your comment. I did NOT recognise him at all
What's the character role of Kim Young Dae?In synopsis it is mentioned of Kim You Jung but no mention of Kim Young…
Junseo exposes Ajin just when she's at the pinnacle of her acting career. She loses everything — her career, her fiance and image. She escapes to Hong Kong with Jaeo for a fresh start, but ends up leaving him when a rich guy shows an interest in her. She moves in with the guy and it turns out that he's a widower with a daughter. The daughter, who seems to be a sociopath too, pushes Ajin down a long flight of stairs which causes her to lose her last remaining asset — her beauty. She ends up requiring so much plastic surgery that she is left practically unrecognisable.
This isn't the end for her though. Would you be okay with more spoilers?

That's a good question!
There was this girl Seonghee who had a crush on Junseo. She was a classmate of Junseo and Ajin. Unfortunately, she had the misfortune of getting on Ajin's bad side. Ajin made Junseo date Seonghee so he could weasel out her secrets and make all the classmates and teachers turn against her. It's safe to say, it did not end well for Seonghee. You don't need to feel bad for her though because she was a real piece of work herself 😭
My conclusion is that Junseo lived a very sheltered life — he barely interacted with anyone except Jaeo and Ajin. So even if anyone developed a crush on him, he would never reciprocate it. Ajin knew this fact all too well and she made sure to take advantage of it.
As for Junseo's ending, it's very complex — and certainly not happy. More of an open one, I'd say. It does come full circle with the theme of the webtoon though.
