I don't think so. We also never saw how her grandfather figure out she was the phoenix. We saw how he got the original jade but not how he learned what it could do.

I've only watched 6 episodes but was reading comments and it sounds like a love triangle develops and I don't want to see the two girls lose their close relationship over a man! So I'm waiting to see how it ends lol
Did you watch the Journey of Chong Zi? I at least felt this ending was better than that one. But it could have been so much more 😥

Yeah suddenly they all just appeared on the battlefield?! At least they showed the scene of her telling her brother about the attacks that were going to happen. Ou Ya becoming the new king was also rushed. They definitely could have had 2-3 more episodes to tone it down a bit and give us more details
