I noticed that there are a lot of adlibs or unscripted scenes in this drama. They’re so unserious for a “serious” drama 🤣 Breaking 4th wall in ep 1 and then in ep when they played the russian doll. I love watching their bts because it seems like Ke Yu and BaoBao were having fun filming this drama together.

I take it as she feels indebted towards LXX and she wants in for this project, so she just follows whatever LXX wants and deep inside, she actually wants it as she’s still in love with LXX. At first, she thought that LXX just wanted her as part of his lust, that’s why she’s kinda sad when he’s treating her bad (neck chocking, model for his art which she thought he wants nude model) and she took off her clothes when LXX said they’re sleeping together because she thought that’s what he wanted in exchange of her position in Lan Yue, but when LXX didn’t do actually want that, she started to warm up with him and secretly enjoyed that he still cares about her.

They bickered like a married couple, I can’t 🤣I lost it when LXX rides a scooter with Xiao Liu and Zhou Wan just baffled seeing it.

They’re kinda funny like in ep 24, they still haven’t defined their relationship and they simply create excuses just to be together again. These two fake idgafers 🖐🏻😂

I didn’t even say they made her a good person, I said they made her not “truly” a bad person, which means she’s bad but not the ultimate villain in ZW’s life, it’s LZY, XiXiao’s dad is her true villain.

I know that this drama is kinda old production and only being released now, but wow the color of this drama made me feel like this was produced 5 years ago. Storyline wise, it’s interesting so I’ll still give it a chance. I finally renew my Youku subscription because of the is drama, so please don’t disappoint me. 🤞🏻

Looking at how iQIYI didn’t give us express ep, I have low expectations on them giving us express package for premium users.

I didn’t read the novel but I’ve been reading here and there on the snippets of how the novel storyline. I kinda appreciate the drama part which they toned down a bit on the playboy trope for ML and also the abuse that FL faced in the novel. On FL side, she had suffered enough, so I don’t think I could stand it if she’s being abused at her work and in the verge of losing her job, I appreciate her being successful and shine on her own way. This is just my opinion and if you love the novel version, there’s nothing wrong about it too. 😊
