im afraid they are straying too far from the main premise which is selling the adult products + womance. i don't think the do hyeon find the mother arc and yeong bok husband plot are necessary at all.
just like many dramas, it started out so good but dwindled on the end. the latter half was so repetitive for me, and the ending is very underwhelming. one thing though, thanks to this drama for introducing me to kentaro.
with this and jeongnyeon, the korean incels and conservatives must be trembling, shaking and gagging in anger. more of these women centric shows pls. love it.
Yes, it could be a movie, but most dramas are created because the creators want to delve deeper into the characters…
well, despite the 8 episode run, characters remain one dimensional to me hence it doesn't matter if its told in just two hours. storytelling could be much tighter.
story could have been reduced into a 2-hr movie. but still, a decent watch. tho i really find the latter episodes rather underwhelming compared with the initial episode.
centric kdrama airing rn. check it out, it was so good!
