I like this author. It's a nice change of pace to have female-centric series as most dramas are male-centric. This particular author has the tendency to portray deaths, pain, violence, and so much angst. I'll look forward to all her series with box of tissue on the side. Thanks for pointing out the main differences.

I saw your comment on the other one. The title sounds similar on both of them. Both have rebirth and revenge plot with strong female-centric character.

Twitter has the director's name as Jason Du. On Weibo, it says Lin Du. It's probably the same person since Jason is his English name. Unless Twitter and Weibo is wrong , most likely he is the one.

The only thing I worry is the director. I have never heard of him and couldn't find him on the internet. If this is his 1st project, it may pose a risk. "Heroes Legend" I believe will air next year. This one will not air until 2025/2026 as the other 2 series will air first so I wouldn't worry about not having a fresh vibe. All of CY's dramas were successful with the actresses he worked with for the second time.

I searched everywhere and couldn't find director Jason Du's previous works. This is concerning if this series is his very 1st project.

The ladies in the anime have some sexy attire. Their clothing is so revealing. I hope the costume in the drama is classy and pretty. So far, not liking the costumes in the anime.

I just finished watching the anime in Chinese but I don't understand anything. The parts where there were a ton of swords piercing the ML is quite remarkable but he didn't die. And I don't know why the king wants to kill the FL.

I thought GuanHe Notes is LYT's next drama since Cheng Yi was rumored to play the ML so when the news broke about this series, I was surprised in a good way coz I like this series also.
