And it has finished! What a journey this has been! It's been amazing to follow 'Not Me' with all of the comments and discussions that have happened in here, thank you all!
Random thought: Maybe Gram's story line could have been better if instead of being in love with Eugene, they would have been brother and sister. He could have been an overprotective brother that doesn't want his sister to get hurt by Black instead of the whole 'I like my best friend's girl'. I really liked Gram and Eugene's scene in episode 13 but I felt that a brother/sister relationship would have been more fitting and they kind of look alike.
Sean's story began due to his dad and he finds himself in the same situation as his dad..., in a truck full of drugs that weren't his and trapped by the police. The story went full circle. This series is just beautifully written.
Oh, so that's what happened, P'Jennie is implying there's a lost love in Off's life, right? I hope it's a lost but then returned love... Thank you for spilling the tea!
ok I’ve been waiting for this episode because I didn’t want to judge too soon and I was hoping things would…
In my case, I've felt that only episode 12 hasn't been as good as the rest of the episodes. I've absolutely loved loved parts of the episode, but the episode as a whole didn't flow as well as the others for me.
I feel like the reason why White doesn't want to say a thing to any of the gang is because, deep down, he knows it's Black's life. It wasn't his life to begin with. I think it's even more emphasised with twins, some twins want to differentiate from one another a lot. It's not that they don't love one another but that they want to feel like they are a whole person which sometimes being a twin is difficult. I think White loves and respects his brother to understand that all along that was his brother's life, not his. I feel like he think he has no right to meddle in Black's life, he surpassed as Black to seek revenge, not to substitute him. Until Black doesn't accept White as part of his life now, White is not going to say anything. That's why since Black woke up, White has only interfered to save Sean from danger, then he has gone back into hiding.
I think that Black wanted to end things between Sean and White in order to protect White and to keep him away from that kind of life. What I think happened was that Black thought that by spitting after their kiss and then leaving, was going to end Sean's relationship with White. However, seeing that Sean wasn't letting him go, he went for a more drastic measure in the way Black seems to like to solve it all: using violence
I thought Sean already knew about White, otherwise why would he ask him if he had any siblings. But seeing him…
I think he was looking through White's stuff because he didn't trust "Black" completely at the time. For him to assume he has a twin it's just so bizarre. One thing is to speculate that he has a sibling, but jump to the conclusion that he has a twin... That's why I honestly think he has no clue
Thank you for spilling the tea!
