Episode 4 was one of the best I've seen in a long time. Just heartwrenching.

Birdie, where did you watch this please ?
Hi, Emma! The series is on GagaOOLala under "What Did You Eat Yesterday?" and they have both seasons, the 2020 New Year's special episode and the 2021 movie. (I'd say the subscription is worth it, you can watch a lot of stuff in a month.)

A lot of Japanese dramas are available through fansubs, but this one isn’t :( That's probably because it has official subtitles on a licensed platform.

I loved it. Healing and comforting but it also "lets your mind wander", as Ha-kyung says. I wish Lee Na-young did more dramas, maybe even a second season of this one... [wishful thinking intensifies]

People can't leave the country with a suspended sentence but ML could leave the PLANET... I think it's best to watch this as a comedy. The whole thing is hilarious.

What a major trainwreck... and I actually liked the first two episodes. Yeah, the initial plot was a bit strange, but I've seen loads of shows and movies with weird premises that ended up being great. The visuals were beautiful, and I had a lot of hope in the production team. Let's just say my hope was misplaced.

But I did it! 16 episodes, out of morbid curiosity. And the thing with WTSG was that it wasn't even one of those one-drop-and-done streaming dramas that could quietly fall into the depths of Netflix. It was a traditional 2-episodes per week show. They really took this enormous budget and great cast and gave the audience this: a drama that was not about space or even about romance or friendship or the astronaut profession or whatever but about having babies, and motherhood. And, of course, sperm motility. There were no characters you could root for since they were all stupid, selfish or driven by lust at one point or another. And the writing? Abysmal. I wonder if the actors knew what they were signing up for.

Badly done birth rate propaganda. I'm sorry if that was their goal because it was just depressing no matter if you're pro-choice or pro-life. I'll just say that FL didn't deserve that.

Noooo! We've reached the final line. I will miss this drama a lot. Consistent characterization + well-paced storytelling and a production team that clearly cared for it. And, of course, one of my new favorite couples of all time: Ji-yun and Eun-ho. I loved them, but then again I loved (almost) every single character in the drama. Such a great cast!

Simple and perfect. Easy 10/10. Love Scout, you will be sorely missed ā¤ļø

I’m watching this now and loving it. Great show so far! If it continues to be this good it’s 100% going to become a personal favorite.

I’m glad Netflix is releasing so many older doramas (Nodame Cantabile is coming soon as well) 🄹

For some reason, I’m still watching it. I understand and agree with most of the criticism about this drama but the great production was enough for me to keep up with it. Now that they’re back to Earth… I don’t know. Not enough beauty and space shots to distract from what is by far the weakest point of the show: its plot 🄲 Perhaps the utter weirdness will keep me going. And yes, the most important thing for a drama will be always be the script imo

Oh, and I feel bad for Go-eun.

I loved this so much... it will stay with me for a long time. Beautifully written and beautifully told. I'm happy it was well-received by both domestic and international audiences, very deserving.

Title My Second Aoharu Spoiler
I really, really liked it, but that was mainly because I liked the FL and was cheering for her to accomplish her goals. The couple was cute, but I wasn’t my focus—I was more invested in her university experience, life struggles, and newfound family. (And honestly, I think I’d probably choose Hinata aka Marin's dad if I were in her shoes, but I get it. She loved Taku, and he loved her just as much. They were a good match.)

Now, full disclosure about episodes 9 and 10: I hate the sacrificial breakup trope and thought it was completely unnecessary (like the scriptwriter didn't know what to do anymore). And we had not only one but TWO of those in quick succession. I understand what was going through both of their heads, but ultimately, it was ML's decision to go or not go to Switzerland, and he should've been able to make it for himself. He was depicted as this genius student and I refuse to believe that was his only option. And don’t even get me started on what happened next… I had to pause and take a big breath I was so pissed off. After that whole speech about how they would never break up, he DUMPS her? And FL still goes to the airport to say goodbye, and he doesn't even look back? They go no contact for two whole years, and then ML comes back and... proposes? Man. I don't know about that. I just hate this idea that you have to put off a relationship to accomplish your career goals. People change. If you want a relationship that will last you should be able to do whatever as a couple.

Okay, I’m done šŸ˜… Still, those were only the last two episodes! Overall, I still had a good time watching My Second Aoharu. This was my first drama with Hirose Alice and she is incredibly beautiful with great screen presence. Enjoyable watch.
