While Unreal is about two high school bestfriends and TStHF is abou two 'past' lovers, the ways they are separate due to some circumstances and how one of them, in order to save the other one make an exchange/deals with a mysterious shop owner..... unknowingly becoming neverending deals that they need to overcome.

Ambitious women and thought of having power by using men around them. While the plot are totally different Dear X kinda remind me of Nice Guy. What if those who founded guilty never a perpetrator.

Both dramas involved 'siblings' with ill-fated relationship, murder, investigation and revenge. Additionally, both our ML have the same character name. Sungjoon with memory loss and Sunghoon who hold the key of the memory.

Supportive and adorable friendship between classmates, good and smart ML trying their best to teach the FL, best class teacher which genuinely wish the best for their students.

Similar some minor friendship and family issues make you realise you actually have a precious youth during school. A fun watch for both and these dramas will make you cry for some little frienship and family moments.

concept of both dramas revolved around parallel world/ different timeline, genius male lead, childhood crush and friendship. the leads try to figure out to save their beloved ones from different timeline.

[minor spoiler] Trio girls as bestfriends, and the 3 couples eventually hang out together till the end. They have completely different background and story but you will love to see the girls friendship and how they share each other love story. Plus both dramas have wedding scene at the ending due to the same cause hahah.

Both shows have visually impaired person and a bit of their daily life. Both have nice cinematography and piano elements.

[Minor spoiler] Both couples find comfort with each other in a special way. Both ML have a dark history of their childhood regarding their mom and both FL have their own psychological issue. Wonderful cinematography in both dramas, piano elements, great OSTs and a lot of green sceneries. You will find both of the dramas appreciate sound a lot. Both are the types of dramas you will enjoy watching while drinking coffee on raining days.

Same concept of the couple falling in love in the process for filming reality show. Both are sweet in their own way

Both male leads are visually impaired at first. They are cold and like to avoid people then meet the bright female lead.

I can't help to think School 2017 somehow remind me with Gakkou no Kaidan. A mysterious figure with black hoodie definitely is the greatest factor for me. Despite the theme is school, youth and friendship, both the shows potrayed how a group of students try to change the injustice happened in their school.

It just purely my honest opinion. However, both shows have strength in their own way. But you definitely not wasting your time by watching both of these shows.
