my review so far is about 50-50. knowing how the story-line would go (if they decide not to change anything about it), this is rather slow paced.
save the female lead, older & supporting cast, i dont really like the male lead & second male lead. they're kinda awkward...
this adaptation, i would say, is lacking musical pull. the OST of the original was phenomenal!
their dresses were really pretty tho, even with the ridiculous lots of flowers.
did anyone saw the trailer from naver? i saw it on instagram... i really doubting the synopsis right now...
and one more thing. if it's about taehyun & min jae's character, how yoon siyoon's character fit in for being the lead? this is really confusing...
I'm really glad how my guess (everyone else did too) that Sun Jae is the kid of the 4th victim is confirmed…
it was revealed by Dean Hong that JaeYi was adopted (early episode 6). the parents who died were not her real parents.
about the name, (this is just me thinking) probably her mom register Jae Yi under her own surname (her name is Shin Yeon-sook, episode 1 & 3). Why? I can't think of one. haha.. just my crazy theory.
another gem leaving the stage. so sad. I love her in nobuta no produce but haven't been really following her after that.
I don't understand what gender equality has anything to do with the news. before we jump to conclusions about anything, we should know how the community's (Japanese) culture & their way of thinking. I don't think it's fair to compare it to people from anywhere (west, south or north).
You know why there's result like in the end of the article? Because people are curious & they want to know about a topic & how is it different from place to place. We shouldn't use it to condemn others. Differences are there to be embraced & accepted, not to be judged & hated.
Signal is the best! Goblin is next with the mega-blockbuster cinematography. I only agree with Reply 1988 up to episode 18 (in my head the next 2 episodes didn't happen).
I would never recommend the Ex-girlfriend Club to anyone, I dropped it mid-drama, wasting my time.
My new all time favorite drama is Another Oh Hae Young! some who had watched didn't get why, but I think it's the best!!
I was always skeptical about good looking new actors since some got their gig just because of their face not their talent.
Kwak Dong Yeon has been on my radar since Drama Special Series Season 3: Adolescence Medley. His acting was so comedic & hilarious. I was shocked knowing his age at that time. He has pretty face but not many drama or film was on his resume at the time, it's kinda weird. Plus, he really can act, in my point of view.
Hope to see him in more prominent roles in dramas & films.
also i'm calling it right now: jae yi is kwang ho's daughter. which makes his sexist outbursts towards…
I don't think his outburst is meant to be sexist but actually, it's the mindset & the way people who live in the old days think.
and I agree with you, Jae Yi must be his daughter!
So far, I like everything in this drama. From the time travel to the intertwined relationship.
The acting, the writing (cases) & the comedic moment with all the scene stealers (TaeHee, MinHa & DriverOh).
Somebody please make the weekend comes faster!

When Jung Ho Young was saying he did murder someone that nobody knows about, meaning that the body was never been found, I instantly thought of Yeon- Sook.
I agreed with the JaeYi theory, that she is indeed Kwang Ho's daughter. If Yeon-sook has been murdered, the kid has nobody else. We didn't know whether the baby is a boy or a girl but the latest preview shows Yeon-sook with a little girl, probably their child & later been adopted.
And isn't it quite hilarious if SunJae & JaeYi come together with KwangHo by the side & later found that the lady is his daughter. XD
i think one important thing that what actually pull some of us to this drama is the the nostalgia. we've been there, did that & know how it felt. at least it is for me. for whatever era we came from, since girls go to college, we all have been there.
except if you live at home during college....
the conclusion and ending are more satisfying than the movie. i just hope some publishing company will pick this up and translate it from Japanese to Eng. pretty please...
second lead syndrome is one thing but when there's only a thin line to who's the lead & who's second lead, i HATE that the most.
saw it in Jealousy Incarnate & backed out instantly. that's the most emotional draining tactic a writer can do

the yamapi & kame combi really sold me on this! but the heroine certainly a turn-off.

he's one of the most talented actors out there *cries*
