they were already evil spirits. that's how the Chinese counters died.
I know, I think u misunderstood, what i was trying to say is how the evil spirits (main villains) killed the chinese counters when they had powers and the villains at the time didn't
idk how to feel about this one.. I kinda liked it and kinda not I like the alien concept since I haven't seen it in kdrama.
the male characters were annoying (or boring at best) especially the 2 otakus (at least the buff guy was decent) and the policeman with the office lady was so random, was she really the fl's friend? they barely interacted. the ending tho.. Why did the villain die like that?! he should've been brought to justice and his crimes exposed but so sad Director Kim took the brunt.. ig they plan for a S2 since the Sister escaped the police.
(btw I want an illuminating dress like fl's in the last ep lol what fabric is it? also they smoked so much in this drama haha)

but villains didn't have powers so probably a level 2 at best, the counters were obviously stronger, if the villains didn't have their powers the korean counters would've easily defeated them
I thought maybe this season would improve but alas it didn't.. it got worse
I know from their other works these are good actors however I feel there wasn't a good director here so their acting feels forced especially Go Mo Tak's and they really didn't give Jeok bong a good character development and the story had a few plot holes.. like how the whole chinese counters died by villains who weren't evil spirits yet??
also the amount of product placements tripled this season! like I get it sponsors and all that but those moments were like watching amateur ads
for me S1 was a 6 and S2 5.5 at least the first one had a bit going on with characters backstories, S2 they could've put more depth into Jeok bong and the villains's stories but they focused too much on Mr. Ma's
these are good actors however I feel the production didn't let them shine, most parts felt forced almost cringe, the story at the beginning had potential but midway very predictable it felt like they didn't care anymore and wanna get this over.
but from the poster it looks like she'll chop it off :(
it's like stumbling on a random one shot manga with no reviews

at least if there were more scenes in different locations it wouldn't have been bad
aah but again korea and their open endings siigh
