i really liked the director-producer dynamics for both the companies, it didn't feel forced imo

The webtoon this is based off of is extremely good. If you read the webtoon, you know that saying this webtoon is your favorite is a bit strange, but regardless the storytelling employed and the plot twist is both shocking and realistic. That said, I don't believe that this will follow the original webtoon. The content of the webtoon is pretty heavy, and the latter half of the webtoon becomes somber fast, especially for a highschool kdrama. This, coupled with the fact that the main characters are the teacher and the lieutenant(?) instead of the students makes it feel like the drama will stray away from the webtoon. Which is a bit sad but understandable.

i like this drama so far, only on ep 6, but the characters are getting inconsistent. for example, the friend knos how renqing is but still is relaxed around him? renqing randomly saves jiamo and the friend just to keep backstabbing them?

I'm glad someone had similar thoughts ;-; I definitely felt like I was being a bit of a downer in this review, but that's because I got so attached to the characters and felt like it was a shame to have such a lukewarm ML. But you know, the ride was fun at least! And yes, crazy how Wuxin is in the cover but gets a total of 20 minute screentime in the last half of the drama.

I love Nagi and a couple of her friends such as Urara and Ryoko. But the victim blaming is insane. Shinji didn't just ignore Nagi or be rude. He literally said that he used her for sex. He only appreciated her image of her loving him, such as straightening her hair for him. And when he goes to see her, the first thing he does is try to have sex with her. Nagi's struggle to contect with people has nothing to do with the abuse she endured in her relationship with Shinji, it's annoying to see her try to rationalize the degredation she was put through. I don't care if he cries a river for her, he was shit. The best thing he can do is try to be a good person to his new girlfriend and not repeat his mistakes.

the last ep was extremely underwhelming and didn't tie up any of the relationships outside of the royal family.

oof...i figured because this is her first work kind of and it such a big role in a big production. but i do like the actress, i just feel like her character was neglected to begin with

omg if they had casted an older divine healer, that could've totally been a loveline.
