No one is "pushing a message" about being straight it's just the norm. Straight relationships have always been part of storytelling because that reflects most people's reality also when Squid Game Season 1 came out made by the original creator there were no gay or transgender characters. It was raw, intense, and focused on survival and human nature.

Now suddenly, Netflix is involved, and boom — diversity boxes start getting checked. Hmm… what a coincidence

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if someone’s gay, trans, or whatever — live your life. I just notice Netflix constantly doing this, and it starts to feel more like a checklist than genuine storytelling.

The question is: why does there always have to be a transgender character in the first place?
Netflix always has to push a message about being gay or transgender. Bro, just let me watch the series i don't care.

Season 2 and 3 were definitely good for the fans who wanted more of the series, and I get why they made them. But honestly, I think ending it with Season 1 would’ve been perfect. Gi-hun leaving the country and Junho dying gave it a powerful and complete ending. Sometimes less is more.

Junho did absolutely nothing, and even if you removed all of his scenes from Squid Game, the show wouldn’t change at all it would still remain the same.

I liked the concept, but overall, it was mediocre. I never understood why the killer was going after them. There was also too much back and forth. Even when the killer died at the end, she kept her distance for no reason until the main character told her that he remembered everything.
