It’s a Winner
What with beautiful, multi-faceted, and highly talented lead actors playing their roles excellently, and a well-written, complex story, what could be bad?
There are numerous things going on in the present, as well as under the surface, and in the past, to keep you intrigued every minute, and anticipating what comes next, for the whole story.
My one criticism is that they didn’t create enough “rising tension” throughout.
And I feel bad for Pei & Gong.
