Didn’t LBY encourage her a lot to speak of her true feelings to him? He likes coaxing her and the feeling of being needed by SS. If anything, the scene is more of CSS patronizing LBY’s obsession of being CSS’s go-to persona when everything goes downhill. 😂😂

This is heartbreaking, especially to those who knows what about to go down in the coming episodes. I hope that the drama can be fair to the pain that SS is about to experience. As a woman, I’m really sad that to watch a fellow woman being betrayed by someone who claimed to loved her with all of him. SS did not ask for his affection, LBY shoved the affection to her face and demanded to be loved unconditionally. And when she finally reciprocated, with everything of her at that, he chose to disregard it instead.

Though it’s entertaining to see people pushing and scheming to make CSS realize LBY’s love for her, in reality people should mind their own business when it comes to feelings. It’s sad to realize that everyone is shoving LbY’s feelings in CSS face, only for him to scheme behind her back. Using his affections to cover his revenge plans. LBY’s character in reality is manipulative, domineering and demanding.
I knew sh*t would go down because of Ep33. 😂😂 People will hate SS to the core bcoz she’s immature, doesn’t listen and its totally out of character to be this dumb. 😂😂 A drop dead gorgeous man once said, “She wont even disappoint those who treats her well..”, that’s the reason why she did what she did. The crown princess was smart enough to mention to SS that the empress will be implicated. Who is the empress to SS? The mother she dreamed and prayed for all her frigin life! Of course SS will help the empress! She finally has the mother she wants. She finally has someone who tells her without being so vogue that she is lovable and capable. The empress and her love for SS is what she wanted all her life. Why will you not protect someone who wanted all your life? And everyone sees that including LBY, thats why she cant sit still like what LBY wants.
But LBY treats her better! LBY kisses the floor that she walks on.. LBY risked his life for SS! OKAY but Who is LBY to SS? Fiance. The man who cornered her to be with him. The very person who vocally said and made it too obvious to ALL royals the she is his ONLY weakness. The very person who presented SS as a pawn to be used against him. As a great and smart general he should have know better than serving his weakness in a silver platter for everyone to feast on. If he wants to really protect her, he should have hidden her. He understands the palace politics better anyway. Now, who else is out of character?
SS and LBY are both in the wrong in this situation. LBY for not being straight forward and clear with his instructions. He claims to understand SS best, why not tell her, the Crown Princess is using you to force me to help the Crown prince, go home for now and let me take care of this sh*t. I promise you, the empress will be fine. SS is in the wrong for not proactively asking for details. 😅😅 They lack proper communication, which is realistic for any young couple who are in their early stages of a relationship.
LBY and SS couple is by far the best couple I’ve encountered in a CDrama. They actually talk, though they could have expressed and articulate themselves better.

That flashback scene was simply amazing. I’ve seen a lot of flashback moments in dramas but, this scene where SS finally understands LBY’s action in the past hits differently. It feels so realistic, like I can feel her gradual realization of his devotion and commitment to her. The slow burn romance worked perfectly with this scene. The expression of Lusi was perfect too. I’m seriously worried for myself, I don’t think I can watch another costume drama, unless its as great as LLTG. Even the minor characters are great.

We have the romance between the leads, Yul & Naksu’s closure, Crown prince’s feelings, the birth issues of the lead, why did naksu’s soul choose mudeok, the birth right (throne) issue, misunderstnading bet Yul and his so called dad and a lot more. With the FL changing by S2, they must at least satisfy the audience with some progress. Yul must atleast know by know why his so called dad is distant to him or why his energy was locked. Every episode is another set of how’s? I will really be disappointed of they throw all the answers at the last 2 eps of this season.

You hit it right. She is 15, so just other viewers know. Even those who had a happy family at this age would easily be “infatuated” with someone who spoils and treats you like a princess. It’s also not out of character that she’s acting that way. She’s smart enough to get engaged with someone who’s at her beck and call. She wants freedom and she know LY can give her that. Not to mention, how do expect a 15 year old who never experience any type of love to understand the love language of a very complicated man.

It was such a bad idea to announce the plans for S2 at this point of the drama. However it somehow help my theory about the ice stone. Mudeok is the vessel of the ice stone, and since everyone wants it for the wrong reasons, it’s most likely has to vanished. So Mudeok’s body and soul will disappear with the ice stone, end of S1. S2 will probably, Naksu getting another body or regaining her orig one and Uk trying to find her and falling in love with her again and all the angst there’s to come. If Mudeok will survive, the plot of s2 will probably, Uk being engaged with the real Mudeok, being the crown prince and him longing for Naksu’s personality.

I thinks its the mother’s way of challenging him by putting a lot of pressure and, practically shoving on his face that if he will keep on idling he’ll never have the chance. NN has a point when she said Ayao was the only man who proposed to her. LBY may have been intense with his stares and whatnot but he was never straightforward with his intentions
I’m really surprised with the ratings here. This drama is probably one of the best cdrama I’ve seen for a while. The production, the aesthetic of each scene, and the acting. It’s really great. I’ve seen most of ZL’s drama, and this is probably her best for me. I thought his chemistry with YY was phenomenal in WRTW, but with WL, Jesus Christ, their Chemistry is just explosive. The sexual tension whenever they’re together is really felt in every scene. I hope this will not be their last pair up together. I would love to see them in a few years time, in a more mature role.
As for the slow pacing, I’m really not sure about that, coz to me the pacing is just perfect. I like the fact that they’re discovering themselves, their feelings and all kind of relationships. I hope Cnetz and Inetz are not sleeping on this gem of a drama.
