As of now (sept, 6), eng subs at ondramanice.tv still sucks. Also, there is still no eng subs uploaded on subscene.com (subscene.com is where all high quality eng subs are uploaded first)
After watching this movie, jealousy just filled my heart. Let me tell you why.
The 1987 revolution in SK brought peace and prosperity for years to come. Justice were served to the perpetrators and the victims families were highly compensated because their sons/daughters who rebelled against the military regime were treated as heroes.
On the other hand, we in the Philippines have our own "1986 edsa revolution". This revolution was a "fake" revolution because only 1mil out of 50mil filipinos participated which is roughly just 2% of the whole population. What's painful is that after this so called revolution, The Philippines went down to the shitter. Many foreign investors pulled out or refused to enter the Philippine market resulting in mass unemployment. Mendiola Massacre happened where farmers from all over Philippines converged in Manila, protested and demanded reform. The farmers were then met with bullets from the soldiers. All of this happened while the elites (Aquinos, Cojuancos, Lopezes to name a few...) who made the fake revolution were just sitting making their pockets full because they have now the monopoly in their respective businesses (remember foreign investors pulled out). Anyone who opposed the new admin (Cory regime) just disappeared and after some time, their bodies found on remote areas not far from the capital.
To sum things up, what happened to SK was a miracle. What happened to the The Philippines was a tragedy...
As of this moment (oct 30 2018) subs there still sucks. I'm assuming it was just google translated Indonesian subtitles. The subs are awkward and some parts are pure Indonesian. Do not let the crap subs ruin this beautiful movie
