how is he still being casted in dramas??? the fact that he has 5 2022 dramas and new movies on his list is crazy, he always plays the same character and his acting isn't even great
I either want her with nobody or with Eun Pyung, haven't watched the new ep and see some comments about the CEO's behaviour. Also not sure why the mother didn't change her name? I thought they had it all planned out with their fake identity and somehow Sora's secretary dug it up that easily
I expected that wang so would be known as a good king and that haesu was misunderstood throughout the drama so it didn't surprise me much. I would hope for a season 2 where we can see wang so adapting to the modern world but it would take a really good plot for the drama to do well otherwise there would be no point.
The cast and acting was great but if comparing to Empress Ki since they are both historical and have somewhat of the same plot, Empress Ki was much more engaging and the overall plot was more interesting. I think Scarlet Heart fell short near the second half and too many misunderstandings. The ending didnt have to be happy but was unnecessary with them not being together during the last moment. Would hope theres a season 2
still one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas considering it came out in 2009. Beginning was really engaging and made me want to watch more. However I found it got too convoluted with the plot and I just disliked how they had to make it seem like everything revolved around Chen Lin. I get that she's the FL but I just didn't enjoy her character and wished there was more focus on the 2 MLs. Also Xi Ying was underutilized with her character, wished she was more involved with the MLs investigating cases and ***spoiler ahead*** maybe paired up with either MLs which would have prevented the love triangle (unnecessary imo)
love that the plot is unique and intriguing however, episode count could've been less, without spoiling too much, many things were revealed way too early on which made the latter half boring and like many say that the FL was getting into trouble for the ML to save her every time. Also the romance just wasn't as great near the end and I wished that the crime & thriller part of the drama was emphasized more and kept the audience engaged which is why i found revealing everything early on made it less interesting (thus more episodes led to it being dragged out)
Why are people expecting romance in every drama? There is none in this drama, and that's fine with me.
I never said I expected romance lol I knew this drama didn't have any, what I meant about chemistry is that the leads barely had any scenes together to help develop their relationship in that sense so not sure why you're putting words into my mouth
watched like 3-4 eps and then just started skipping every eps after, just got boring and likely bc political dramas aren't my thing but wanted to give it a try. LJG's acting is great tho but the fact that the leads had barely any chemistry and then I see their announcement in the last ep was like what???! Just feels forced with their relationship and even skipping through I felt the ending wasn't satisfying
so far idc about woori's parents scenes and I find that theres too much screentime for them. If they're gonna develop her relationship with raphael theres not much that has happened considering its already 6 eps. what would've been better is if they already showed more of KJ's background, how they got together, etc more in the beginning for us bc the recent ep feels forced in that they showed how they got together and then had them separate at the end. I didn't realize theres only 14 eps and sometimes it feels like its slow but then with how they'll "force" the chemistry in the following eps with raphael will make it seem fast. I think the pacing and timeline of this drama could've been better but will continue watching to see how everything unfolds
maybe during the time I watched it I wasn't as interested in the plot and just stopped, but I've been catching up on Rowoon's dramas now so I might give it a chance again. Although his other drama Extraordinary You is a highschool romcom with fantasy, I found myself being more interested in that drama than this bc the plot had more depth to it
near the end it was like they didn't want to film more as it mostly consisted of flashbacks which that extra time could've been used for more plot development or for the leads to be together. this drama is good for a quick watch of romance as there's no depth with the plot and not much character development. It was a okay-good for me, but if romcom isn't your thing and you're not really into the actors then you might not be as interested
love Rowoon and he did a great job but this drama was lacking with the plot and the characters weren't dynamic. I dropped after a few eps so idk about character development but I just found it boring and cliche how Rowoon's character liked the FL from the start and was just waiting for FL to reciprocate. The FL's character is also bland so from the start it was pretty disengaging for me. I wished the plot had some other element to it

im loving this drama but ep 15 had many things that got me laughing which is what u pointed out xD I was gonna make a comment but saw yours already haha but her struggle, how unrealistic it was for the girl to abduct Sina that way and Sina really could've just shook her head out and bolted lol and Segi with his "why is the recording different??!" just made me facepalm lmaoo
judging from the comments it seems the FL is constantly crying and idk if she'll have her development bc its getting irritating with her not standing up for herself and always crying, just hope it gets better
some saying her acting is over the top but I think her acting is good, she can cry and show emotions quickly. If I were to compare her to park shin hye, shin se kyung, suzy, or any other actress that I think always portrays the same monotone expressions I'd choose Se Hee. I'd rather have what some say is "over the top" acting compared to some actresses that are highly praised (due to their fanbase) which always portrays the same expressions for every situation and just bland acting overall. After seeing her from Young Lady and Gentlemen she reminds me of Everglow's Yiren and Girl's Day Hyeri mixed
