Seriously been waiting for him to get more lead roles! Right now it seems Jae Wook is taking on romcom roles maybe to take a break after The Guest and Voice however I really want to see him in more crime, thriller, suspense and maybe even action dramas. Just hoping to see him in more dramas next year!
was just curious but for the ones that were watching while the drama was airing, did you find that you didn't enjoy it as much since there was a lot of confusion and having to remember what was going on? And for the ones binging it now or binged all episodes, did it turn out to be really good for you?
I'm a bit sad since I went into the drama loving it a lot and it sort of drifted from there. I usually binge watch which allows me to understand better and to see how the pacing is however I was too excited and had to watch while airing which wasn't as enjoyable as I thought. I found myself not engaged with the last half of the drama but might try to rewatch to see if I'll see it differently. Hope that there'll be a season 2 :)
no hate towards Park Ha Sun but I'm not sure why shes even listed as a main character let alone the FL? I understand she'll get her spinoff but she really was not a main character at all in this drama and it felt like her character was pointless. Not sure if they put her as a FL since she has more superiority over Kim Ji Eun but it just doesn't make sense
I feel like the action and fight sequences fell short near the end of this drama. I was expecting NGM to have a good final fight scene but nothing came. Maybe my expectations were high after watching episode 3 and I understand he can't constantly be fighting but with the decreased action scenes from the middle to the end I was hoping for something great at the end. Also feels like the production in the first half of the drama was better and you can tell they focused a lot on it but as the drama progressed it seems like they gave up as the cinematography sorta went down.
I see some comments disagreeing with binge watching this drama. But for me I binge watch most of my dramas and find that it works better for me that way then waiting for 2 episodes airing each week... imo this drama is better to be binged to understand the story more as it would flow better since I watched this as it was airing i found myself confused at times having to recap and i think that's what made me not enjoy it as much as I wanted. But I will still give this drama at least an 8/10 and I'd be thrilled if they're deciding for season 2!
I don’t think he felt suicidal from Doha’s father. I feel like his father and his hyung were affected at the…
yeah, not saying doha's dad entirely caused him to feel suicidal but that was like another event that added to his torment. this is just my theory based off of the preview but we'll see in the next episode
so far from the preview and flashbacks, my theory is that Du Shik made a mistake in the past causing the security guard at his workplace to be ill (the reason why Do Ha punched him) so he started feeling guilty and developed depression, which led to him almost taking his own life as seen when he was about to jump off a bridge. but his "hyung" shown in the flashback went to stop him and as they are driving home they get into an accident leading to his hyungs death. that's why at the memorial service the wife (Seon Ah) is blaming him for her husbands death. And not sure if Sung Hyun called Seon Ah noona as a sister or as a friend but if thats his sister than theres probably going to be tension between DS and SH since thats his brother-in-law
ok thank God I'm not the only who found ep 4 a little off and out of place. maybe it would have made more sense…
yeah I guess they made it more believable bc someone helped the teen and somewhat influenced him to take that step. but yeah I felt somewhat lost as to what was going on and how that incident is going to add to the plot but we'll see and I think episode 5 will be much better! can't wait to watch it today!
just wished episode 4 wasn't written that way, about the teen hacking into the system from the help of someone. it felt like a filler ep but i'll wait until next ep to see if it was needed to develop the story. And im so done with haters messing with the ratings of dramas when they haven't watched anything bc they're bored with their lives
Episode 4 dropped another twist in the end.. The Name of the person who received the call.. Su Yeon. Can't wait…
yeah the fact that she's somewhat involved makes her more annoying now haha but I think her character is used to distract us into thinking she's the one but maybe not? Even then she was still probably involved directly or indirectly
So far I'm liking Je Yi more than Su Yeon and glad she has an ulterior motive for revenge which adds depth to her character. I know it will reveal Su Yeon more as we progress but it feels like I'm drained of energy every time I watch her because it's annoying to me how she feels like Ji Hyuk owes her and as if he was the one that killed her fiancée. If anything she should be supportive and empathetic towards him knowing what he's been through as an agent herself and how his traumatic experiences has changed him.
episode 3 fight scene was so badass and I loved it! I've always been waiting for an action kdrama that delivered great fight sequences and this has delivered. Hope this doesn't sound weird but I love how the fight scene in ep 3 got so violent and straight to the point, not beating around the bush or anything. Like this is reality and what you have to confront with gangs, drugs and violence. Not like some other kdramas I've watched that weren't executed well. Also liked how throughout his abduction we follow along to how he'll carry out his wise plan through the flashbacks of him talking to Je Yi and not left confused. Overall just love the way everything was executed in episode 3!
I agree about action/sci-fi dramas with big budgets, though more traditional crime/investigation dramas tend to…
for me 365 was really interesting and eerie in the beginning however, it became boring near the middle-end for me as plot twists were predictable at some point and I just lost interest. Also I noticed that most kdramas under the fantasy genre only introduce the concept of time travel but generally don't explain how the time travel works compared to sci-fi providing some background to it which in this case 365 was one of them. I wasn't expecting much but after finishing it left me asking many questions and confused. Some dramas don't have happy endings or the endings are open ended but it didn't feel satisfying for me i guess
Because the final bad guy usually a old guy in a suit who is a conglomerate CEO/Chairman or something and has…
yeah many have been like that, so whilst watching in the middle of the drama everythings revealed so it becomes boring and nothing keeps me hooked anymore. I understand there can't be something super exciting happening every minute but hope theres more depth and "smart" characters in this one!
so excited but ready to be disappointed halfway into the drama bc theres something about kdramas involving action and crime that are never really executed properly and bad endings. hopefully the writers and directors will do a good job since Im here for the ML and plot
this drama was really good in the beginning and kept me hooked but near the middle-end it dragged so much and I couldn't help but skip some parts. I really wished they could've added something more instead of the jealousy issue or maybe cut down to 32 (16) episodes. It was until the second last episode that things started picking up and the last episode was good. Loved the happy ending and cuteness of him possessing more human characteristics like crying. Definitely one of my favorites!
So far all I see:- HAR crying all the time and spending most of the time finding her mom (wish they didn't make…
yeah I was hoping for ABH's character to have more of a background to it and was expecting something more to the whole kidnapping issue. also noticed with these time travel k-dramas they never get into how the time travel works even though its under the sci-fi genre. I've watched other shows that fall under the sci-fi category and they usually go through the "how" part. I watched another k-drama with time travel and bc it wasn't under sci-fi it never explained how it worked. So I was kind of expecting something for Kairos
So far all I see:- HAR crying all the time and spending most of the time finding her mom (wish they didn't make…
yeah everything you mentioned annoyed me too about the drama. I just finished for Shin Sung Rok and really didn't like HAR's character. It was just the constant crying and searching for her mom which was the only thing that made her character relevant and I found myself skipping most of her parts by herself and with her mother even though I know its to add a sentimental mood to show their loving relationship but just got bored quickly. Her reckless actions just made me irritated and I really couldn't handle her dumb character lol also KSJ going to the resort by himself was not a smart move. I think these reckless actions were needed as like "filler" to prolong the drama and soon the plot twists weren't even surprising and at some point I didn't even know if I was watching a thriller anymore. Before it was revealed, I already knew KHC had an affair with SDK since there had to be a reason why his character existed so the only thing that surprised me most was them kidnapping Dabin to start a new life. And Chairman Yu just didn't emit a villainous aura so his character wasn't convincing to me and the fact that his character was acting up early on made it boring near the end as nothing was new. I tried going in with low expectations after seeing the good reviews and just can't relate to most saying how great this drama is. I'd say it started strong and had potential but execution fell short and is really not as great as some say. The most I'd rate this drama is like a 7.5 or 8 if I was generous.
