OMG! Finally someone said what I have been thinking. That foundation is just awful ! I have a hard time looking at her because of how bright it is on her face. Whoever is the makeup artist for this drama, really should not be aloud to work in the industry. They cannot get any of the characters make up right.
Sorry everyone, as I watch this I have to come here and vent my frustrations. I'm on episode 86 and I just don't understand why the characters are so dumb. Even after finding out that JGY knows who SHJ really is, she stays in the home. Not only that, but she goes into his office where she knows he as a camera. How dumb is SHJ? Also, if you have a video clip of the chairman being held captive, why not just send it to the police? She can explain the reason why she changed her name to the police later. Then at the very least, an investigation can start. The characters in this show are just plain stupid and annoying and while I am still going to stay invested in watching it. I want to throw something at the screen. I find myself yelling at the idiotic things that have been happening.
This drama would have been way better if the writers included some episodes where the ML is facing a problem/trouble/betrayal. There are only 10 episodes left and he just keeps getting away with thing and in true kdrama fashion, I bet they are going to fill the last two episodes with revenge part of it causing it to be a rushed poor ending.
I love Dylan Wang and have since Meteor Garden. So I thought the pairing of two very strong actors would make for a great drama. Unfortunately, I am at episode 15 and I still cannot get into the drama. It is really boring in my opinion. I am hoping it gets better so I will continue to give it a chance.
I feel so bad for Korean celebrities. They cannot date without getting hate from their fans. Most wait until they are in their 30s or 40s to get married in fear of losing fans. They even have to write letters to the public to justify themselves when dating. Any infraction is scrutinized and even if they are innocent, they still have to apologize to the public. It is really toxic and also unfortunate that there is so much pressure on them to be near perfect.
For those asking, the show is not bad, it is not great either. I am on episode 73 and I am only watching it as background while I work. I don't think it is something I could give all my attention to as a dedicated show. The drama starts slow but what I do like is that you know who the villians are right away. I think the writers wanted us to hate the ML with a vengeance because they make him do stuff that is the worst, there is just no redeeming his character. Just an awful awful person. He treats his wife with such contempt because she is an orphan, then he tries to kill her but gets the wrong person, cheats on her, frames her for the death of his father (who is not his father) after he was the one who tried to kill him, he then gets her sent to prison for murder but agrees to drop the charges for a lesser charge of embezzlement. He then tries to kill her and when he thinks that she is dead, he marries another rich woman. But, let's not forget he was already cheating on his first wife. The list goes on and on. He then gets married and promptly steals his second wife's money and uses her up. He then attempts to divorce her so he can move his newest love interest into the house (which happens to be his first wife with a removed birth mark). Moving on, he then tries to kill his second wife even though he knows she is pregnant with his child. Did I mention that he is also stealing money from his company and engaging in dirty politics while prostituting his agency actresses out to politicians. And to make matters worse, he is inciting others to murder their own son for his own wellbeing. What a scumbag. His mother is no worse, she hates the first wife who happens to be sweet and kind just because she is an orphan and has a birthmark. She is greedy for her son to take over the company from the father so she assists him in getting rid of the first wife. She loves the second wife because she is rich, that is all the way up to when the first wife who she thinks is someone different comes into the picture. The woman even tells her husband to die because she can't stand taking care of him. I cannot wait for them both to get back what they have done two fold. I hope they don't continue to drag out the revenge and downfall of the villians. I also look forward to the Assemblyman getting his punishment served.
Overall, the show really sets us up to hate the bad people and wish the worst for them, while rooting for the ones we think should win. It is absolutely a soap opera feel and it does drag on but in my opinion, if you like revenge dramas this is a good one.

I cannot feel sorry for Yoo Ra, in fact I cheer that she was put in her place finally. Even if her mother was not nice and was evil toward Yi Roo, she had choices. She toyed with Sehyeok, and convinced him to marry Yi Roo even when she knew he was in love with her. She mistreated Yi Roo on the basis that she was adopted and constantly belittled her for that. At some point, as a young adult and grown adult, you develop your own personality and thoughts. Just because everyone else is being mean, does not mean she has to. In addition, when her sister was with Do Guk, she went to the bar to proposition him so she could sleep with him. She was just a nasty character and all she did was not just a result of her mother’s upbringing but who she was as a person. She encourged Sehyeok’s sister to post malicious lies about the FL and even bribed her with purses but when it came down to taking the blame, she tried to push it off on someone else. To make matters worse, she slept with Sehyeok, had him thinking they were in a relationship and then went off to chase after the older brother because she thought it would hurt Yi Joo. At every chance she got, she tried to one up Yi Joo because she just had to be better than her. So, no, I don’t feel sorry for her at all.
