the only part that slightly annoyed me was jiho not telling or even hinting sehee that she still loves him a lot and isn't leaving permanently!! i understood almost everyone's motives throughout but i still can't understand why sehee had to suffer like that, yes it helped him open up but im sure there was another way for that....his constant sad abandoned puppy face was too much to bear i think her dropping a hint that she will be back while she was leaving would have been slightly better for me

ive actually wanted to watch this for like 3 years now but didn't upto now for some reason but for the first time im glad i didn't lol....i feel like i wouldn't have resonated with it as much as i did now if i watched it at like 18-20😭 anyway i liked it a lot though i was not too invested in the other couples' stories, i think the writer did a great job with many things like jihos views, the mother daughter relationship and of course the whole marriage thing

5episodes in but i had to pause and say im so touched by how accurately the writer wrote the mother daughter relationship ☹️☹️☹️ the little resentment anger miscommunication and misunderstandings that came with them living in a patriarchal household seeing each other suffer but unable to help..... so much love but the inability to show it🥹🥹🥹 so good

right they didn't even know the rich guy properly other than him being a victim of the villain, really should have given it to mr oh instead....and the actress as far as i know was removed as she was involved in a driving under influence case

i don't like preaching but u sounded like u liked ranting out of frustration very much. the show literally opens with a scene from their childhood and it's implied multiple times that yongpil has been in love with her ever since he was a kid. that's 20-25years of love. this is literally an established relationship trope so u need some imagination and a romantic bone in your body to imagine just how attached two people can get in a time that long, him choosing not to get over her was not him being a "simp" but him knowing he won't be able to form that connection with anyone again.

also samdal IS a victim fuck do u mean they rubbed it in your face lmfaoo are u sure u don't just hate women? their break up is not on them she literally explained that she didn't want him to be distant from his dad☠️☠️ but anyway if u watched all that and still say shit like this you're either really stupid or have experienced too little feelings irl.

normally i dont care what people on random sites say but this sounds like a very biased review, almosy everything u said is wrong. i get that it's your personal opinions, but that's not what the person asked for is it? "women are always victims in this drama" how many episodes did you watch? yongpil himself was a victim in many ways. the elder sisters ex husband was also depicted as one from his familys side. the main villain was literally also a girl and the only guy who was depicted as a scumbag is the cheater guy. it really doesn't have anything to do with women, it had one clear message that was the importance of a support system and how nice it is to have a healing place/people to return yo when your life gets hard, im sorry if you don't have enough comprehension to understand it, you can keep hating it. but no need to reply to others and make it sound horrible in a way that is clearly untrue

2 days later and I'm still thinking about the last episode, i really really loved this drama but here's some things i wished they added:
- a marriage/proposal scene! usually idgaf about them but with their dynamic and friends and family it would have been really cute+given them more screentime in the last ep
- i really wanted to see eunju suffering like yes everything went good and we can assume she lost all her work but i really wish we got to see her getting humiliated a little parallel to how samdal was treated in the first few eps
-the cheater guy😭 i get he helped and eunju seduced him but hes still a cheater i was sad to see him still hanging around her after timeskip
-a small scene of yongpil in the wmo, it was his dream! we should have gotten to see him living it for a bit
- the arab prince thing is☠️☠️☠️

anyway i still loved this so much i just think an additional 15-20mins in the last ep would have made it even more perfect

finsihed, really liked what they did with jin gayoung and seokhoon, rather than just being pathetic/jealous second leads who randomly disappear at the end they both had a good fitting ending to their arcs. all in all just ep15 was horrible other than that it was fine maybe even good for times when you're looking for a not too serious romance

almost done with ep15 and trust me when i say ive defended this drama till this point but now im just so pissed😭😭😭 they should have just ended it sooner or gone for another subplot this forced angst was so frustrating to watch because of how stupid it was, guwon could have very easily just stopped the villain from falling or immediately gone after him, keeping him alive and then dealing with him stupidly again at the end like how did he get the gun so quickly and why are u as a demon just letting him shoot...... just to try and get a tearjerker scene when it would have been better if they just kept it simple, also the episode being so uneventful and just flashbacks other than her last memory was so...not it...anyway i hope i don't get into an argument here because i really did enjoy this drama upto ep14 im just sad they did all this to ruin it last minute, hope ep16 is good to make up for it😭

i felt the same in the start, but there is a reason she didn't actually fight back too hard in the start, it was because she doubted it was actually true and she accidentally really made her suicidal, so she didn't have the confidence to fight as she was afraid she was actually responsible. later on she realises it wasn't the case but by then she already started disliking the whole industry and wasn't too keen on making a comeback, i think she will still do it by the end

note: i am not irritated by this, it's valid to be angry, just replying because i also felt frustrated at first

also [personally] don't get the hccc comparisons(other than the fact that they both feel comforting to watch), the countryside setting is one common thing. but hccc was about her starting over in a new place and it was more of a heart fluttering romcom vibe, it also explored the villagers' lives a lot, with samdal-ri they have the whole revenge/justice plot going on and it's more focused on familial relationships friendships etc as it's her coming back to her hometown, the romance is also more mature as they are like 38 and have known each other forever.....u can argue the bickering thing is there but in samdal ri they both already kinda know they care about the other a lot so it's not similar....i love hccc very much and I like this one so I actually wouldn't mind if they were alike but i can't see it at all

ps i emphasized personally because i just like to ramble I don't care about this enough to argue about it

only things pissing me off are the dad and ml letting her mom do her very dangerous job with a heart condition and the ml's dad acting....the way he does. at first i didn't like how she didn't fight hard enough after being framed but after some episodes u can understand why she didn't. i also can't bring myself to care about the older sisters story much so i just skim when i see her husband show up...everything else is fine and good so far

halfway in and im glad i decided to start it despite the many comments calling it bad, i feel like with a slice of life drama like this it really depends on your preference and your mood, like i watched 3 plot heavy dramas in a row so this feels like a good watch now, idk when and why we started expecting some groundbreaking plot from slice of life romance dramas😭 i get that it's a typical one but i still find myself clicking next episode, some things frustrate me but i have yet to find it bad or boring i think the leads did a good job

legally yes but when i said that i mainly had the villains in mind😭 you'd expect people who do all kind of illegal stuff to have some guns around but even when they kept getting their ass beat by the heroes they never brought one out lol
