i totally agree with you...i just can´t stand poor, innocent and mistreated girls...i just doesn´t have any compassion with them...in my opinion they deserve everything what´s coming on them, because they doesn´t do anything to defend themselves...only things they doing is crying and whining and it´s freaking annoying to watch that...strong women´s on the other hand are just my cup of coffee.

But i have to disagree with you on evil moms and birth secrets....i just hate these cliches and that´s even reason why i don´t watch family dramas

When i was drama rookie i used to never drop dramas. But later i became busier and i did not want to waste my time, so i started to drop dramas. Now i´m probably dropping queen but i doesn´t feel guilty about that at all. My time is precious to be wasted with stupid dramas.

Also i love skipping because with that i´m able to withstand certain amount stupidity. But lately i feel sad because i don´t like current dramas. For last two years i´m in constant drama slump and i just can´t get over it.

they definitely leave me pulling out my hair in frustration...so after few attempts some years ago i just gave up on them...and i have to say it was my best decision ever...but now i have problems with length of chinese dramas LOL

Also when comes to the historical accuracy, then it´s true there were Nationalists, Communists and Japanese imperialists fighting with each other. But that´s probably where historical accuracy of this drama ends. Well that and the fact that emperor of Japan was for japanese people godlike figure. They did really put him on the pedestal. But what i´m finding most furious is he was totally unpunished for his crimes.

i´m aware current Chinese government is totalitarian government and won´t allow plenty things, but it´s still pity it had a negative effect on this drama....actually it´s taking a toll on plenty dramas out there. Chinese TV, newspapers, even a internet are full of censure. That´s probably reason why China produces so many historical and fantasy dramas. It was actually same in my country, which was part of USSR till 1989. In that period our writers, artists, filmmakers were under strict censure so many of them find out refuge in historical topics. Many talented people end up in a prison for their art . One writer, Rudlof Dobias, was in a prison for 7 years just because of one caricature of Stalin and Gotwald. It was really unfortunate period for our culture. But my country was fortunate and finally became independent with a luxury of freedom of speech. China on the other hand is not. But again Chinese people doesn´t do really much to change their government (probably because of the good economic situation), so let them be. I´m more interested to see poor Tibet as a free country.

This drama is full of holes like Emmental Cheese. But so was Rookie Agent Rogue and i loved that drama anyway. So where is the problem? Answer is bad writing.

First of all whole drama was so repetitive. Arrest - torture - escape. Watching this drama was like watching Leonard from Big Bang Theory to play a game Where is Waldo? Well this was adjusted version Where is Mok Dan? Almost 80% of drama was about searching her so they can find out where is Gaksital. It was really boring.

Also Mok Dan was one of the most annoying and most useless female leads in history. Till now i don´t understand why she even did existed in a first place. She was so bland and i´m not sure if it was actress to blame or fault of character. And whole ,,childhood love" was just stupid. Love should be based on adult time spent together. But nevermind, because this drama wasn´t about love. Even through it was the worst part of it.

Also Shunji's change happened too quickly and was just too unbelievable. If there would be some time skip i would be more inclined to believe that. But on the other hand i really liked Lee Kang To and i just loved some scenes involving independence fight.

So summa summarum i really don´t understand why so many people love this drama. I´m really sucker for war shows and movies so i thought i would really love this drama but then i was so disappointed. This drama definitely is not masterpiece, but it´s not bad drama too.

ugh this drama could be easily my fave if only wouldn´t be main girl so freaking annoying...i just couldn´t stand her...so i dropped this

seriously don´t watch this disaster...even after years i can tell this is the worst k-drama i ever watched...well drama Heirs is strong rival in that matter...anyway if you want to watch good drama about spy, then watch Rookie agent rogue...it´s better spent time

great drama but pity it´s was full of propaganda of communism...also less episodes would be better but whatever... anyway ladies in this drama ROCKS... they are strong, smart and very competent... and male lead with his super brain is just swoonworthy....this drama just make me crave for more spy dramas...also it´s helped me to forget on that awful disaster called 7th grade civil servant...so yeah good job
