I loved her in Come Back Mister too and amvery disappointed. This role is not good enough, espesially because…
Now, I definitely don't disagree with you at all. I get that she's only human and has tons of evil spirits out to get her. And that the bracelet at the moment is kept on him to protect her from getting eaten. But it has come to a point, where it's cruel manipulation of him and his feelings towards her, and you can tell she truly believes his feelings and actions are genuine (which they aren't). This just becomes a badly written character for me, and that's what throws me off a bit. As I mentioned - she keeps asking for reassurance and seems pretty happy that he shows up. But in reality, he doesn't have a choice, hence it all feels too fake for me. All the scenes that are supposed to be cute and heart fluttering, just aren't, because he's only acting accordingly to the bracelet.
- I just wish the scriptwriters had come up with a different way for the chemistry between them to blossom. But alas, it's still only ep 4, so a lot can happen - and I definitely hope it will. Her character needs a major redesign, as she has so much potential to be a strong character, as we got a hint of in the first two episodes.
I am only continuing to watch this drama due to the strong male lead performances. Their performances are incredible and very funny.
- The female lead is throwing me off so much. Loved her in Please Come Back, Mister, but her character is so poorly written in this drama. Hopefully she will improve, but for now (at ep 4) I have yet to like her.
Now, she did wait for Seung Gi's character to uphold his part of the deal, so it's only natural she wants him to protect her. But it has become too annoying with her obsession of protection -she is holding him against his will and manipulating his feelings, just to save herself. Why did she have to turn so extremely useless? We don't need that here, give us a strong female lead!
She keeps asking for reassurance that he will protect her, but its not like he actually has a choice- All the cutesy scenes become too fake. It doesn't make my heart flutter at all.
- One thing I really enjoyed though, were the small scene with Seung Gi giving her the umbrella back and playing around with it. It was a great build up for perhaps future, genuine chemistry between those two leads. More of that, thank you. Not this forced love from the bracelet.
Shes honestly getting on my nerves too. She is crazy obsessed with not being alone, and it throws me off so much. I liked it a lot before she decided to keep him hostage for her own pleasure. The small scene with him returning the umbrella was so adorable! More of that please, not this crap.
