well I haven't watched the episodes but I have been reading about it. here's the thing, on the first ep we saw Feng yin's soul entering the egg and b4 that the egg was kinda dead like there was no soul and it didn't had any chance to be born but Feng yin's soul made it possible so the ah yin we saw till now had Feng yin's soul and the one gu jin fell in love with was also her soul
we can say they are the same soul but in different bodies that looks alike and I think lusi meant the changes in her personality like how she went from the bubbly cute water divine beast to the cold phoenix queen

exactly I couldn't agree more but it also needs to be mentioned that he somehow saved daze mountain from getting fully wiped out by sacrificing himself and he killed yin twice but the first time also saved her in a way and the second one helped Feng yin's soul to be whole again So he shouldn't get the hate he is getting lol

we always see dumbass fls and we are so used to it. most of the time they portray the ml as someone extremely smart and all that but this is the first time the ml is a freaking stupid dude and this is not so bad to watch(Feng yin's revenge will be wholesome to watch). BUT GJ's character has its positive side too which is ignored by many( just my opinion) like his intentions was never to kill anyone let alone kill Ah Yin(still a dumbass tho). He wanted to save as many as possible and that led to many unexpected things. But y'all it's not that disappointing. don't drop it yet just wait for all the episodes to premier like me and then binge
