yes I thought about it too because it might look like xz is more in love but if you look at it carefully then shen li has given XY half of her cultivation, 500 years of cultivation precisely. And XZ went against natural law for her. Shen li knows the weight of XZ's responsibilities so she would rather not show her emotions. They both care about the world but if needed they can go against the world for each other. that's how I see it. about other dramas I never actually care giving a thought
