I am trying to binge watch this right now as by August 10, all episodes will be for premium members. Twelve episodes have been released. Now on episode six. Hopefully I can watch all twelve before then. And then I would have to find someway to watch the final episode. Fingers crossed!
And...done! Another series completed. And you know what? I am in the minority here, cause I liked it. I know a lot of people are dissapointed saying that it isn't BL. But, what I also got was a series that kept my attention from episode one to twelve, making me laugh, smile, cry and reflect on the lessons that the characters were taught. There was a part that was predictable, but otherwise than that...this series had me at the edge of my seat.
The series was entertaining and not the same thing that is being repeated over and over again in Thai BL (which made me literally took a break from it.) If you are here looking for a Thai BL series, this may not be it for you. However, if you want to watch a series that's unique and different that will have you both laughing and crying, you should give this series a chance.
Thanks to the director, the actors, the production team and the writers for working very hard on this series- I am grateful for it! Thanks for working hard and producing this work , especially during this time.
Ok, not gonna lied. After watching the first episode I was like- "I ain't feeling this. Season one was better." However, after watching these last two episodes, I kinda think they found thier groove. I know that I am in the minority as I saw most posts not feeling it, but I actually did.
The wine scene I was in the beginning what was the point of this, cause I found that it was taking too long. But by the end, I felt that it added the sexual tension between the leads. I will agree with some people by what's the point in introducing a third person who likes Bay. Not gonna loe- he's good eye candy, but what's the point of him.
I really do want to know who it is following Bay and Mok and taking thier pictures, though.
Okay. This show has went beyond my expectations this week! Last week I was why are both Xavier and Mico so and this series is gonna ive me the stupid typical BL story that I have grown weary and accustomed to. But, it didn't. Crystal actually stepped back for Xavier to make up his mind. The scene with Mico talking to his friends had me crying, cause he's in pain and heartbroken.
It was nice to see his friends support him, especially JunJun. He is the smartest out of all of them when it comes to learning peoples emotions. I truly adore him! Now! I have to wait till August 19, 2020 for the finale. I'm ready for it!
Just watched the trailer. And...my hopes have gone up a bit. I still think that I will wait for the series to end, cause I really don't like interacting with people who keep bringing up the same thing over and over again about last season. We get it- yuh don't like the show! Some of us do, even with the flaws. Ain't no BL out there perfect (although the Filipino ones sees to be doing a better job than them- my personal thought).
What can I say about this week's episode? I thoroughly enjoyed it! We not only get a confession but Seph calling Kookai beautiful! Ahh! I am actually happy for Seph and Kookai- I am invested in them! I am here hoping that the ending is not yet once again a dream! Three more episodes to go and I have no clue how this series is gonna end! I can't wait for next week!
The producer of this show is very messy. He promiss stuff, then take back his words. The actors weren't even paid…
Well, that sucks. I'll still just wait and see. Hopefully he keeps his word this time around and pay the actors. I really need a proper ending for Zon and Saifah.
There were talks about Zon and Saifah getting a special episode/ movie. Does anyone have any update on this? Cause, I am seeing other series filming and no word yet on this. I need my complete story of Zon and Saifah.
I thought that episode seven would have been the last time that I would have cried so much for this series. And then episode eight came out. Gosh! I was so emotional just watching this episode. Kudos to the director, the actors and everyone who did such an excellent job on this episode. I love Cai's family so much! And I also love Pearl and her being so supportive and just being her! And then the ending between Gav and Cai!
I think that this series is truly a gem with the way that they are dealing with real life issues and they covered it beautifully.
Okay. So, just finished watching episode two and I found that it was a vast improvement from episode one. It held my attention for the whole episode and when it ended, I actually want to see what next week has to offer. So, I will be waiting for next week!
Some of the comments lower down in this section. Like, wow! You guys are acting like a bunch of kpop fans over who is better than who when at the end of the day these people are producing something that they love and are sharing it with us. I, personally, am grateful for all this different countries producing BL series. It gives us more variety to watch at.
I am here and I will support BL from Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Filipino ad even the very view Vietnam and India.
People need to be grateful for the amount of BL that we are receiving compared to years ago.
I haven't read the manga for this series, but I must say that this series was good. Not gonna lie, got a little mad with Akira at the end of episode three, but he redeemed himself in this episode. Glad for the happy ending- they deserved it!
And also, for the cameo of the couple from MODC, I'm gonna treat it as if they exist in a multiverse world and in that world, nothing bad happened and they lived happily ever after (like in the alternate ending that was also written for MODC).
Thank you to the director, the production team and the actors for this series. Thank you for all of your hard work and for making this series for us, especially during this time. It carried me on a journey that I am grateful for.
P.S- I think all of these non Thai BL series are, for me, giving a better, developed storyline with some great actors.
