I forced myself to watch FH due to a few reccs saying it’s like TPOB. The production and plot were good but I was only interested in the Tyrant Emperor and Princess’ chemistry. Now I can return to indulging in re-watching my favorite CP with TPOB

First time watching QTY and his portrayal of the Tyrant Emperor character in FH was absolutely poignant! I was rooting for the tragic love between him and the Princess. I’m interested to watch more of his works. Almost couldn’t find his MDL page, this pic doesn’t do him justice at all

This was a fun easy watch, light and non-serious so that I can study for my board exams while it’s playing in the background. Some bits are a little too draggy but all worth it because of how it wrapped up for the main leads! I only knew TJC from MV(?) drama, not a fan of his acting but the FL made up for it with her cuteness. No rewatch value but highly recommend for light romcom if you haven’t seen it. 7.5 rating

No wonder something looks off when the facial close-ups happen. I had no idea that AI airbrushing is a thing and they’re actually applying it on the male leads though?

Watched for LYN but ended up liking the rest of the cast as well! They were all so fun and energetic. Hoping for same cast in Season 2!

I would’ve preferred older leads for this cdrama too. This is my 1st time watching any of these actors and I’m having difficulty believing the supposed anguish and sufferings these characters have endured. Their pretty faces were nice to view but their portrayal of the characters were just surface level, lacking depth. Their kiss chemistry was even more lacking.

I’m on Epi20 right now and the only reason I’m still here is the mild curiosity of the 2nd leads’ romance outcome since I’m not feeling the main couple.

I’m on epi17 of FH right now with the multiple reccs recently. It’s a pretty good cdrama so far since enemies-to-lovers is my cup of tea, but I’m not as invested in this cp as I was with TPOB. Something about WS & QM keeps making me want to rewatch the series again when I’m forcing myself to try new dramas

I enjoyed the angst when the cp was at odds with each other and their comedic clashes as husband and wife. XY’s childhood struggles and overcoming the loss of her original dream of being “just a fake trophy wife” and becoming an accomplished businesswoman instead was inspiring. The closure with her parents was nicely done but SHM’s family drama could’ve been better executed. Why didn’t they spend more time on HaoChen’s story after such a big upheaval?! As for the rest of the business mumbo-jumbo that heavily lengthened this cdrama to 32 episodes, I was reliant on the FF button. It was like watching paint dry!

I liked seeing Wan Peng again (she was a cutie in MGIAA, so tempted to re-watch) but her character here is not my fave. Every other actor in this cdrama is new to me but the actress that played SHM’s Mother is my favorite character arc and I was hoping to see more of her at the end. A major negative for me was the cp’s acting during SHM’s Father’s situation at the end — not sure why they looked so stone-faced with those sad scenes? I couldn’t feel them portray their sadness, most especially WC’s attempt at it. Come to think of it, he didn’t really have that many sad scenes during the moments of contention with ZLS. I gave this an 8.0 rating and no re-watch value.

Feels like I’m watching paint dry with epi25!!! This includes our cp’s conversation that was supposed to transition into something more altering but was bland at best.

I’ve been generously tapping the FF button with majority of the recent episodes. I should understand there’s about 8 more episodes to go but the trajectory for this romance cdrama is not promising since it’s been swamped with so much filler. ML still hasn’t groveled yet and I’m guessing the drunk previews won’t happen until tomorrow’s episode. Time to put this cdrama ON HOLD until all episodes are aired. I can’t help losing interest in this cp!!!

I hated his Mom in the beginning episodes too but if you stick with it, her character arcs is one of my favorites (I’ve never seen this actress’ prior works but I was seriously impressed that she acted so well)

Ep24 was a major filler episode with just a few moments of sweetness for our cp. Good thing they had constructive small talk but I still needed more ML regret and introspection from losing his beloved FL

Bwahaha! I was roaring with laughter in epi20 and epi21 with the cps’ wacky business antics working as a team and their verbal war on the road. I’m not familiar with ZLS or WC but they have such good chemistry for this second-chance-romance trope! I’ve only seen a few clips of prior drama works by ML and FL so I came in without expectations.

I’m a sucker for a good enemies-to-lovers trope, and this modern cdrama fit the bill. Also noting the cinematography, love the many different camera angles during poignant and angsty moments
