I’m at ep9 and so far the cp’s chemistry has been a drag for me. Especially the mask fighting scene was unconvincing. The bickering at first was a smidge cute but off-putting soon after. Not sure if it’s their acting or the character. I’ve only seen XK clips and don’t know the fl. I tend to ff costume drama politics but usually the cp and side characters makes up for it.
LYN’s ost brought me here and I thought to give it a chance after GMPrincess, not my favorite but the cp’s had me interested. This cdrama though, I’m dropping

Based on what An Lan discovered, the loop days weren’t random. I deduced that the culprit had advance calculations when loop day was, ie leap year is every 4 years
Mobius was a fun time-loop watch, short enough to keep me interested in the detective sleuthing and the right amount of romance bits to whet my romantic appetite. No one’s asking but I would’ve preferred more time on the romance department than those elongated scenes with the “girl that had immobile acting features”. You’ll know when you see it lol.
BJT was my 1st c-actor that I took notice of and watched more than a handful of his projects nearly back to back. This time though, his acting was awesome, especially those crazy forehead veins that throbbed and pulsated while he was having heart symptoms.
JM (she has pretty eyes) and all other casts are new to me but they did great in their roles. I noticed a lot of comments about the multi-lingual conversation being weird (bad Cantonese) but I didn’t know any different as a foreigner that only speaks Viet and English. I liked the concept of them still understanding each other.
9.0 rating but I won’t watch again. If you haven’t seen Reset, I recc that BJT time-loop cdrama more!

You mean the other MLs have worked with each other before? I guess it’s not their thing to do kissing scenes but if you’re already signed up for it, shouldn’t you at least make it more believable?
As for TPOB, I think I’ve watched all their promos and bts filming at this point and I can see they have high regard for each other as friends since their variety show days. How they made us believe they had a romance in TPOB is a good study of their acting craft. They made me want to watch their other works, most especially LYN with his micro-expressions

Yikes, just watched that recc'd love scene and it was as stiff and awkward as you mentioned! The cuddling scene thereafter was hilarious because their facial expressions became even stiffer.
How did LYN and SZE do their script reading homework so well? So much so that they didn't even need the pretty cave background setting to make their sizzling love scene look good. I don't think my heart could take a cuddling scene from our CP. Maybe not now but if a director's cut comes out later, I will be weak enough to change my mind 😅
The way I continuously laughed at BJT in the 1st episode. Please tell me if this series will proceed with bits of comic relief amidst the serious investigations? If yes, then I’m ready to binge watch. If not, I’ll hold off on this modern drama and go back to costume dramas (which have recently captured my interests more)
You’re close to double digits status. Isn’t the amazing that the story gets better the more times you watch it? I seriously would forget certain parts and catch the minor details again, each time with different perspectives
