This is amazing and hilarious. The three crazies all have something in common and that's BL 😂https://www.douyin.com/user/MS4wLjABAAAASOUsxZLVUXmGVGAVNc_Q0AEPGkGxujbDq-Lq8uEMVLmshVLlQnPOCqpXIOiQa0IP?modal_id=7302843627372432679
LOL! Thanks for sharing this! Great to see the three crazies together, but also happy to see that very short glimpse of Ren Jia Lun's 'Zhou Sheng Chen' from One and Only - probably one of his most profound and memorable roles to date.
In the novel, ZZ lives but stays unmarried in the second life. Haha, XW and JXN's children admire ZZ and XW is…
In the novel, YL recovers his memories and is repentful of the terrible deeds he did to JXN in their first life (R*PE). He also lives and remains unmarried. After the big coup at the palace (masterminded by XW, YL and Princess Zhiyin), YL leaves the capital for the borders.
Moving to OFL for my Bai Lu dose for next 3 days. Didi I'm coming 🫠
I'm thisclose to dropping OFL. I love BL and Didi but there's only so much the ir acting and presence can carry a poorly written script. I read the original novel and while the drama does follow the plot almost to the T (minus the relationship between Guan Ji and Shan Shan) including verbatim lines, it's too over the top and a bit cringey in the live adaptation.
Also, Didi dubbed himself for the drama and while I am all for actors using their own voices in dubbing, Didi's voice unfortunately takes away from my enjoyment of the drama. I don't know if this is because I am a native Chinese speaker so I can hear how how his voice doesn't sound mature enough and the hints of over-enunciation (trying to hide his Sichuan dialect) when he speaks.
If he had dubbed himself in Love between Fairy and Devil, believe me when I say his Dongfang Qingcang would not have been as receptive as it was despite his awesome portrayal of the Demon Lord.
clearly both Zhang Zhe and Ning'er have feelings for one another 💗 why will they not end up together? I'm curious,…
It's because Ning'er found out that Zhang Zhe also retained memories of their past life. She felt guilty for the the awful things she did then and her one wish/intention was to be a good person in this life. Zhang Zhe remembering their past life means she wouldn't be able to move on and shed her past self as the 'Evil Empress'. Zhang Zhe admits to Xie Wei that he loves her but knows by letting Ning'er go, she can have her freedom to be whoever she wanted to be (e.g. not be tied to her past).
Duke Xue is indeed XW's biological father. XW is the son of the two noblest families in the empire - the Xue family on his father's side and the Yan family on his mother's side. He's cousin to the emperor, Shen Jie and Shen Zhi Yi as well as Yan Lin and he's half brother to Duke Xue's daughter and son.
Why does it seem like ZZ also reincarnated and remembers JXN from their first life? All the lingering looks from…
In the novel, ZZ also retains his memories from their first life. It's the reason why JXN did not end up with him in the second life.
Yan Lin also remembers at the end and was horrified of all the terrible things he did to her *SA* Hence, he left to the borders to protect the country.
does xie wei become the emperor in this lifetime too?
Novel spoilers: In the first life, he kills himself after JXN kills herself. In the second life, the current emperor had a son (he didn't in the previous life) so the crown didn't get passed on to Shen Jie.
This is not one of those dramas where romance will happen instantly. It fits the storyline as both of them don't…
It is 2nd ML, Zhang Zhe, played by Wang Xing Yue (most recently the beloved male lead in Scent of Time with Zhou Ye). He'll appear in episode 10 according to the preview~

Bai Lu is a regular cast member of Keep Running
The only exception would be 'One and Only' and 'Forever and Ever' because of Ren Jia Lun's no kiss clause.
I can just rewatch all of Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai's (BL and LYX) kiss scenes from 'Love is Sweet' snipped together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwvd7NR7JOg
Yan Lin also remembers at the end and was horrified of all the terrible things he did to her *SA* Hence, he left to the borders to protect the country.
