Like Fiat say.. he have everything what he want. Everybody give hive him what he wanted and they do what fiat…
That's true. Even Leo seems to give in to him when Fiat whines at him. I also feel like Leo has drawn the boundaries between them so Fiat feels that this is the best he can get from Leo and wants something more but can't get it so he decides to go to Type who showed him some concern and tough love. I do think Leo loves Fiat too but feels that Fiat either isn't serious or doesn't want to ruin the friendship so he just represses what he feels as well.
I still like Tharn/Type but I'm also enjoying Leo/Fiat's angst because things seem to be slowly going on a downward spiral for all of them lol
I feel like I skipped season 1.5. Season 1 ended with Tin and Pete. Where are they now? Apparently Techno has…
Fiat was already in episode 1 if I'm not wrong. They introduced him as this basketball captain who's super passionate about basketball to the point where he carries on practising even after a match that they won.
I think it's pretty interesting how there's 4 couples here and you can rank them from healthy/sugar sweet to unhealthy/veering on toxic/hot ass mess
The doctor and champ have the nicest, most sweetest courtship so far. They are just so cutesy to watch and conversely, the least interesting for me lol. Next is Cir and Phugun. Still don't really get the point of them so I can only presume they serve as a plot device further down the story and also they are the healthier parallel to Tharn/Type where there's a possessive boyfriend but it's not batshit crazy as of now.
BOTH Tharn/Type and Fiat/Leo have unhealthy dynamics still. TT - don't even need to say where they are so over the top dramatic for each other and are still the same petty idiots they were 7 years ago which is hilarious. Fiat/Leo have an intriguing dynamic where Fiat seems dependent on Leo while Leo apparently is intimidating enough that the rest of their peers bow down to him but indulges in Fiat's whims.
I can even buy why Fiat is interested in Type and why Type sees himself in Fiat. The same irrational logic, rude behavior, intelligent but spoiled brat behaviour with a good dose of self loathing. Fiat getting upset with Leo for not having clairvoyance to call him when he injured his leg and also having the nerve to post on Instagram while Fiat is sitting in Bangkok stewing in his unhappiness is something I can see Type doing to Tharn in the past.
Techno I think, has a plan to make Type jealous over Tharn because by now everyone in their orbit knows that both of them go off the deep end when they think there's even the slightest hint that the other person may be taken away from them.
That was one hilarious proposal and it's actually quite believable because days of watching reality TV has taught me that people really are 1) ranking their spouse below their immediate family 2) dense enough to say it during what should be the most romantic moment of their lives.
WARNING SPOILER:I read the novel a long time ago but from what I remember in the novel Fiat causes Tharn and Type…
No worries! I hope I'm right too haha. The character description that I read said that Fiat and Leo are childhood friends. Fiat was very close to his dad but his dad got remarried and Fiat didn't get on with his stepmother or stepsister. So he would runaway to Leo's house. Leo is hence, very protective of Fiat and used to taking care of him.
WARNING SPOILER:I read the novel a long time ago but from what I remember in the novel Fiat causes Tharn and Type…
I think Mame already said they will be deviating from the novel if I'm not wrong! They are clearly taking steps to flesh out Leo and Fiat's relationship and I don't think they will be taking the novel's route
Why would Fiat even come for Type when he have a whole Leo for himself JUST WHY?!
Like damn ! Just finished watching the episode and it blows my mind that Fiat would go for Type when he already has Leo. This honestly adds to the whole immatured kid thing which is such a 180 degree turn from the confident, talented basketball team captain from episode 1 LOL.
HOW did he even think this would work? He would somehow snare Type(granted he still doesn't know Type is in a relationship) and still keep Leo around as his protector/emotional cushion? Leo is clearly possessive over Fiat-that was one heck of a hard stare at Type in the preview and basically makes sure that Fiat acts right and is kept happy(within reason because he did tell Fiat to behave properly)
Also, I died at Techno taking that photo of Tharn- he's such a gossip and it's amazing how all the gossips are always at the right place at the right time even in the real world lol
People are saying that Type and Tharn were shallow characters compare to other shows. That the anger issues and…
Well said! I agree with so much with this comment. I like ITSAY but this has its own charm as well and I like how slice of life it is.
Even the Fiat arc makes sense to me. He's almost like a mix of Tharn and Type. He's moody like Type to the point of almost emotionally unstable. Clingy like Tharn and gives off strong spoiled vibes where the actor defn makes you believe that whatever he wants, he's so used to getting. And there's certainly people like this in the real world lol. They rationalise their behaviour with " ends justify the means".
We haven't met Leo yet but the small hints and crumbs that the other side characters have dropped shows that Leo is almost like a stablising force to Fiat and time will tell if he has helped indulge in Fiat's behaviour leading him to be so spoiled where he gets whatever he wants. Leo has what feels like half the basketball team watching over Fiat and reporting back to him, almost babying him in a way which adds to the whole spoiled character.
I'm actually enjoying it lol. I get that ITSAY is great but I feel like this has it's own charm as well (and of course it's own issues). I actually think it's a great thing that BL dramas are being pushed out so rapidly - hopefully, this paves the way for even better dramas to be made down the line.
For this show in particular, personally I think the fighting still makes sense. It's basically the 7 year itch that couples experience where Tharn wants more commitment and acknowledgement than he's getting now while Type is worried about the repercussions. They both love each other and have fallen into a safe and familiar pattern but every relationship needs to evolve in order to stay alive. And they both have valid points. Tharn wants to solidify the relationship with marriage because he thinks this will alleviate his insecurity with Type and more importantly, he wants to make their commitment official. Type thinks its unnecessary because he worries about society judging them, the resulting fall out for their families and because he thinks this is good enough already.
And then rolls in the wanna be homewrecker. It helps that Fiat is cute because him scheming to get Type is going to be horrid. Type seems to attract the rich, clingy type. On a side note, I cackled at the memes on Twitter of Tharn begging Type to stay with him in season 1 with promises of cooking for him and waking him up early. 7 years later and homeboy STILL can't fry an egg and needs to be dragged out of bed in the morning
i'm gonna watch secret garden to take my mind off this drama. even the heirs makes more sense than this lmao
This! Goodness, now the heirs I can appreciate for introducing the audience to the numerous scenarios where spoiled rich kids can suffer ! To be fair, as sub par as the show was, I actually enjoyed it HAHA
My heart bleeds for the cast and crew of this show. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, controversies, criticisms and…
People are free to criticize a show. Most of the comments here are constructive. If anything, it's almost a compliment to KES because people have such high expectations for her dramas since her body of past work speaks for itself. It's not realistic to expect nothing but postive comments. Especially if the show is lacking
SPOILER: Really enjoyed this haha. Such a simple and realistic story but well written and amazing actors! Even the side characters were good. I liked the ending and how it didn't necessarily end with a neat bow tied ontop. I LOVED how Sun Woo had so much dignity and strength until the end. A true Iron Lady.
Her monologue to DK in episode 15 was delivered with so much impact and the simple ugly truth of her words hit DK. She literally broke her opponent with words even though she had probably stopped thinking of DK as an opponent at that point and more like someone to be pitied. DK's parents both understood how they screwed up by blindly supporting their daughter when actually if they had stopped her from being with TO her life would have been so much better as SW pointed out. Also, TO remained true to being his douche self to the end as a helpful reminder that life will always be full of people who refuse to grow and evolve.
Would like to see the Chairman's hot spy in TO's office and DK in a spin-off LOL - not that she deserves it. But in all honesty, this was such a massive lesson in humbling the entire family.
I still like Tharn/Type but I'm also enjoying Leo/Fiat's angst because things seem to be slowly going on a downward spiral for all of them lol
He wasn't all that interested in the guy at first. It wasn't until he saw that Leo was having fun in Italy that he decided to start flirting back

It's such a shame because Mr Sunshine had such good development for all the characters
It was interesting and I'm a sucker for thwarted love and evil second male leads.
