yeah i think she's fictional too. even if such character existed IRL, it might not necessarily be female . i think through her character they wanted to show how female officers struggled back in the day with old mindset of male officers and even general public

hmm..... i understand what you are saying , she did work with ML before , maybe it's because of her insecurities she acted so defensive and territorial. i still liked her. and i shouldn't have used woman card i guess, my bad. anyway despite our little disagreement have a nice day, Peace out.

okay , by unprofessional attitude, u mean the first time ML met her? yeah she was condescending that time , that was her basically saying fuckoff. but that's a standard response when someone else want to put their foot in her investigation cuz she has no way of knowing whether they will help or derail the investigation (we know because he is ML but i have seen other thrillers where bad guys joined the investigation and i was like don't let him in!) moreover when case is important and sensitive ,she needs to have complete control over investigation and should only work with people she knows and trusts cuz if things go wrong she has to take the responsibility. but after that she was respectful whenever she drew a line. by the end she trusted them and worked closely with them.
i actually liked the FL and understand where she is coming from , it was a time when women were looked down upon and not respected , even the witness treated her as a woman and not a detective and was non cooperative . and even in the department when she had a stalker threat, instead of supporting her, she was treated as weak and laughed upon. so ofcourse she is so defensive and territorial of her cases and investigation. but she always gave them credit and was respectful whenever she draws a line.
