Great points! When you are in her shoes you WILL make questionable decisions especially under anxiety and fear. Shes scared and living in fesr everyday because of her uncle. She is not thinking rationally, add on her past trauma its a terrible mix, shes suffering bad.
While I empathize with Wen Yifan *I do* think this plotline was very unnecessary and does not make much sense in some aspects (not in terms of her trauma with her assault) but in other ways. It’s valid to feel a bit frustrated cause this plot was not in the novel. So it’s just an annoying add on by the writers to erase the original conflict in the novel and make it more angsty for no reason lol. Today’s episodes are definitely a difficult watch but I’m excited and still love this drama to death. I can’t wait for episode 27! And I for one am not gonna hate Wen Yifan. She has been through a lot and she might not be thinking clearly right now. Currently she is only thinking about protecting her loved ones from a man who keeps haunting her. shes never had support or help. Is it a bit of regression? Yes. Is it dumb writing? Also yes.
