I'm the complete opposite. Reading the novel beforehand just makes me more excited to see those scenes come to life, I am literally foaming at the mouth everytime one does lol and i'm not left wondering how it'll end.
People just hate complex characters especially if they're female. Nothing new in drama world unfortunately.
