Why did Arun tell his dad that the event went smoothly when it obviously didn't
well...I guess for the same reason that a student failing their exam says to their parents the contrary.

Counting the days till the next episode...I enjoy this series a lot ! In some ways it reminds me a little about History3: Trapped. The silliness in the plot, comedy and angst, action, good acting, etc, while being very entertaining.

Is this good so far?
Very good for now. The main leads are really charismatic. For the plot, this can be kind of cartoonish, almost Bollywood-kind of plot with some mafia/heist background, action and romance, comedy and angst aspects. This is so fun and entertaining, not that logical for sure but who cares since this is so tasty ? The cinematography is also absolutely beautiful ! I love it 😻 And I just hope it will be as good as this until the end 🙏

Serious question: Why are some people thinking the fight scenes are bad? The choreography is pretty good, maybe…
I don't understand too. I think the fight scenes are good.

lots of people still looking for realism in BLs 🤦‍♀️it's romantic fantasy. for entertainment purposes.write…
Disagree. A ”fantasy” with people struggling because of debt and poverty can speak to a lot of people...Emotions are real. Feeling for a character is real. It depends on how we define reality in fact...I don’t think it’s only a question of being entertaining. People have to relate to the story, to the characters too. It’s more complex.

Unfortunately, the series feels very rushed in terms of plot, pace, smooth growth of personalities and characters (so that in the end, we "care" about them). It's a pity because the acting, the cinematography, the atmosphere were amazing. A missed opportunity.

What are your favorite scenes in episode 1 ? Mine are :
- when Jack and Jocker meet at the bar (the chemistry is -chef kiss-)
- the scene at the end when you see the parallel between Joker arrestation and Jack becoming mafia guy (two different kind of jails in fact).
- the scenes with grandma because they are so beautiful and heartbraking too (she is a great actress)

Ok, so I am TERRIBLE at math BUT for anyone else who is maybe shook by that rating: If you look nex to the rating…
This rating is a joke (ah ah !). To be frank, it is even quite ridiculous. The quality of the first episode, the care you can see behind the filming...absurd.

Jack and Joker are such interesting characters indeed. Joker is very charismatic and so well played by War. He is such a complex character ! And Jack's transformation from a sweetheart guy to a "bad guy" will be heartbreaking to see. Since the series is called Jack and Joker, I guess the focus will be more on how both of them will, among all the hardship, be together in the end. I see this more as a angst drama, full of emotions than an action/crime drama though (to the point I don't really care about the "reality" of the bank robbery or of the next thefts). The series is already very promising and gripping (the scene with the grandmother at the end...). And the "action/crime"-like background is just the cherry on the cake in fact.

In the end, if they want to let some kind of mystery persist, they should not really give a definitive answer about this 4 minutes thing, I think. And I hope that's the case, because explaining everything will kill the fun in fact 🥺
