Ha Ji-Won and Go Hyun-Jung are becoming my new favorite actresses so far. I also love Eugene, Shin Eun-Kyung, Lee Yu-Ri, Jang Seo-Hee, and Soo-Ae... and more (especially veteran actresses!)

This is true, I've always wondered why smart & capable FLs are called villains... another example of misogyny? Interesting. Empress Ki was a real person, but I read that there was a lot of controversy regarding historical inaccuracies. Crazy stuff. Hwang Jin-Yi? Does it have a sad/tragic ending?
I actually DO like comedy, when it's done well and used well. It was not the case here 😂 I'm watching Our Happy Days (first KBS1 drama in a long while), and the tone seems far more balanced there...
Of course Yuna is making deals with the chairman. Chairman needs to get punished too, he's the real villain in all of this. Min-Jun and Chloe are likely to end up together in the end (I'd be surprised if they weren't...) I like that Hyun-Jun isn't siding with his evil mom, it's refreshing!
The way Yeong Sil speaks drives me up the wall. Whenever I hear her I feel like all I hear is uhhh grunt grunt…
A lot of the dialects are SO exaggerated. Like I know Koreans have dialects for certain areas, but COME ON! 🙄 Jung-Ran's speaking (more like screeching) also annoyed me to no end!
It's okay. I didn't guess you were an Englishman with a *fancy accent.* 😂 As for this drama, I wouldn't have minded some dark comedy (A Graceful Liar did this so well), but it was just so distracting here for some reason. Especially with the corny dialects lol
High Kick has 3. THREE PARTS!!!! All with 100+ episodes, and somehow none of them are connected!
MORE!!!! More tragedy! More revenge, more death, no more messing around! We want MORE! We need MORE!!!! 🗣🗣
InspectorMegre at it again harassing me... or trying to. Do ignore him. 🙄 I watched some clips here & there, Jung-Ran needs to be punished and dragged by her hair. Yuna too.
Is this in reference to Sang-Ah being bisexual, or what? 😭
Are you just gonna harass me from now on, or admit that you're in love with me? Again, I have African immigrant parents, so tell me what you REALLY know about culture... 🙄

Ohhhh! No because people were having issues with it- it was a big twist but it wasn't too distracting. Idk where the plot is going, but... yeah, it looks like it's gonna be a wild ride from here on out. 💀 No clue what'll happen now!
Climax is a political thriller/drama. Dear X was NOT that at all 😭
Normally I'd ignore a comment as idiotic as this, but let me respond!
1. I was contrasting the 2 dramas. If you didn't get that? Too bad. 2. Stop confusing me with a fucking redneck, my parents & most of my family are immigrants. Making me a first-gen African-American. Though I don't personally consider myself an American, but my parents decided to settle in NYC and have me. Can't change the past. 3. I know a thing or 2 about colonization (more than that, obviously.) And domination, in multiple ways, if ya catch my drift. 4. I officially am adding you to my MDL hater roster. I still consider you a Tianator, you'll get your lightstick someday. I love all people. 🤷🏽♀️😂
Sang-Ah is in black too, I think. No clue why Jung-Won is in red, though...
Not sure if she's innocent, but she's definitely less grey/evil than most of the characters. (To be fair, most of her scenes consist of her staring, so I can't read her at all...) But I agree with you.
