I've been watching this so far, and I really like how the side characters fit into this drama and aren't detached comic relief that messes up the drama's tone. (Like Penthouse, the side characters also fit well into the overall drama.)

Also, I really haate Ji-Seok now. And when will Hana's bio mother come into the picture? I'm curious about her.

He stated he went to the bathroom, though. Peeing on a car seat wouldn't do any good. Also, Se-Young knew what happened and lied about it. About Yu-Jin falling in the boat while trying to get the hat (that SHE got for SY) that was swept away.

He didn't lose Yu-Jin, it was basically Se-Young's fault. He just took the kids on a trip. The chairwoman did nothing wrong either, HOWEVER, the chairwoman isn't a good woman. Nor is she perfect. No one in this drama is perfect.

This is my k-drama journey started... my first drama was Unknown Woman which I watched on YouTube. 102 episodes, that s**t was SO infuriating and I somehow finished it??? I'm a daoly drama expert at this point- I dropped Desperate Mrs. Seonju AGES ago and I watch My Merry Marriage every now and then. I am also watching 5 other dramas. Please help. 😭

It's a daily drama, so it SHOULD drag (which I hate sometimes) a lot. Alas, it's supposed to have 100+ episodes.

You're welcome! I watched it while it was watching, it was a pretty good drama to me. I like how Choi Myung-Gil played the FL and how morally gray she was. The ending was okay.

Oh Sang-Hee wrote Gracious Revenge/Elegant Mother and Daughter, which also had high ratings and an older female character as a lead.

They're not as bad as the dreaded White Truck of Doom! The final boss of all k-dramas. 😂

Some people adopt disabled adults, adopt adults to establish a relationship, or adopt adults for things like wills and inheritance. Consent needs to happen on both sides. You can do this in the US, South Korea, Canada (in some provinces), etc.
Also, I like to tell myself that anything can happen in daily dramas, which makes it fun. The most sensible thing that can happen is that Yeo-Jin makes Hana a fake "Yu-Jin" because she's adopted Eun-Chong, Yeo-Jin's actual grandson. Or at least caring for him.

You can legally adopt adults, it's true. That also happened in Miss Monte-Cristo, where Hwang Jina made Go Eun-Jo her (dead) daughter, Hwang Ga-Hun.

I feel like it's the writing/directing that makes Se-Young's actress seem bad. It's not always the actor's fault. If I'm being honest, I don't like Han Groo's acting so far either. Her voice is very annoying. I'm sure it'll improve later on for all the actors.

And it's crossed out or invisible sometimes. The writers are sassy af 💀

I'm so addicted to Namu Wiki, I've read the Penthouse, KBS daily drama, character profiles, and a protagonist who becomes a villain/the final boss articles WAY too many times and it's unsettling. 😂
