It's a classic daily, slow at the beginning, and it ramps up towards the middle. I find that most dailies that are fast in the beginning end poorly (since the pacing eventually becomes SLOWWWWW.)

Production is average (or bad in a few cases), since they're soap operas. But there are daily dramas with high production value, like this one or The Witch's Game. Scandal/Snow White's Revenge production was also pretty good.

Yeah! I definitely think he'll be disabled or killed somehow. (Best bet is his death, which would affect all the characters.)

Yes most of them are 100 or more episodes. Some are 120.

Choi Myung-Ji is the chairwoman's sister-in-law, since she was married to the chairwoman's brother. Se-Young is Myung-Ji's daughter, making her the chairwoman's niece. I can't remember exactly why they live with the chairwoman- I think it's because the chairwoman's brother died.

Definitely, I'm catching up and I enjoy the pacing! The characters are well-written for a daily. Hope it stays this way.
