Fl’s father n fl herself is the root cause of their misery. Wt a disgusting father. He was so desperate to sleep…
The FL was so pathetic from what I remember, it was genuinely irritating to watch. Still one of my faves though... the acting & music made up for it. FL's father was indeed TRASH!

(Edit: Her fate was very tragic though. They really just... piled on all the trauma they could think of onto her. Really wish she had more of a backbone.)

This was a HEAVY drama to watch. 2000s k-dramas loved their melos... because GODDAMN they put the characters here through hell! 😭

Not the alt account 💀 gay people exist, even in dramas. Deal with it.
The drama *VERY* obviously established that Sang-Ah & Tae-Seop are in a marriage of convenience/MOC and do not love each other. Also... this is not a romance drama or a romance-focused drama. Melodrama, yes. If you missed these details, that's on you.

The production team was out here promoting the ML and FL like they were soulmates, getting everyone to ship them…

I remember that the synopsis for Climax used to be: The story of a woman who uses the power of a cartel to make…
That synopsis reminds me of First Lady a little bit, another political drama/thriller.

After re-watching, I have the following thoughts/questions:1. Sang-ah was probably a drug addict – photos, emphasis…
Possible. Episode 5 explores Jung-Won a bit more (it seems like Jung-Won is becoming a very common name in k-dramas lately, the FL in A Graceful Liar was named Cha Jung-Won too. Lol)

I watched Eve, I don't remember much of it, but I mostly liked it.

This is terrible, idk how you guys got through it. The 2nd FL has way too much faith in her ex she has to be ill
I was invested in the main FL (Jung-In) and constantly hoped for things to be better... also I definitely loved the villains and the 2nd ML's mother.

So it really turned in an effect creating cheap GL story. That’s more disappointing because we all now know…
This is a political thriller. Why the fuck would you expect romance in a noir thriller? 😭

I thought so 🤔 All About Eve is a k-drama I've been planning to watch for years now. Kim So-Yeon (one of my faves) stars in it. As old as it is, the plot sounds good.

I've never watched the Hollywood movie- heard a lot about it, though.

Tae-Seop is the protagonist, then. Sang-Ah plays an important part in his life. But it's still about him, his ambition, his rise, etc.

I don't see it as a political thriller - those usually have winners and losers. This one is pure psychological…
It's partially a political drama. Politics is one of the main sub-genres (since Tae-Seop wants to become the next Assemblyman.) It's a big part of the main plot and I wouldn't ignore that lol

I was under the impression that bang tae seop is the main character turns out it's all about chu sang ah
I think they're both main characters, Bang Tae-Seop is the protagonist (there's a difference between a protagonist and a main character, after all.)
