Iām not suprised people are losing their minds over morally complex female characters when MDL is famously misogynistic.…
They want all female characters to act like brainless children. It pisses me off, we are in 2026! 26 YEARS into the 2000s- we are NOT in 1996 or 2006 anymore. Times are changing. I mean, this is disgusting!
Okay, this is the 3rd rec of Sh**ting Stars I've seen from you, I'm gonna give it a try! Not my usual taste in dramas, but, seeing Jong-Hoon happy should make me happy. He's becoming a favorite of mine. š
I get why the rating is only 7.5 cos the female lead is too skinny. I think she has ED The actress mentioned in…
You're up and down the comment section trashing the lead actress for some weird reason... please just drop the show at this point. š
Also, I don't think you'd be able to handle most media if you saw what other actors did to physically transform themselves for roles (whether it's in shows, movies, etc...) I suggest learning the difference between real vs. reel. The FL's appearance has nothing to do with ratings on a niche website. Besides, there are people outside of MDL who are loving this drama. Several websites I keep up with that are recapping don't give a shit about how Ha Ji-Won looks. Get a life.
Is she really a sapphic character or is it just queerbaiting? Genuinely asking because I'm seeing this mentioned…
I don't even know why this is being debated- Sang-Ah is obviously bi/lesbian. It's not a bad thing nor is her character being demonized for it! And it sure as hell doesn't need to be tagged, since this ain't a GL drama š
At this point I'm confused, I fear that we're being trolled here lmao

Or... her being bi isn't central to the story, most likely? It's not a romance, exactly, this is a political mystery-thriller (at least that's how I view it.) Why are you so insistent on this being queerbaiting lol
The most well-acted but worst revenge plot i've seen.
The drama wasn't really about revenge. I think the synopsis was inaccurate on that part lol it's about Ah-Jin's greed & ambition to rise to the top from poverty & suffering.
Oops, I genuinely wasn't trying to be rude, I'm so sorry š just clarifying a bit more! I'm on the spectrum so sometimes I might come off as too blunt. Nonetheless, this is huge for k-dramas, it's rare to have lesbian/bi female leads. The only other drama I saw this in was Mine...
I think most of us who use mdl knows that the high rating ones are likely the mediocre drama/series and ones with…
Not always the case. Some dramas with high ratings do deserve them, however, I don't pay attention to ratings when I look for a drama on here. It's all about the plot, acting, writing, and directing for me.
Made In Korea's ratings weren't great and I loved it, however, Dear X's ratings were fairly good and I also loved it. But I wasn't a big fan of Escape of the Seven, and it had good (decent?) ratings.

I agree, it's not queer baiting, she's definitely sapphic/bi. But please, let's not be rude here. We're all here to enjoy the drama, right? :) Sometimes love ends in tragedy... š
