i am with you, a non reader of the novel, so fully enjoying this drama as it is, without comparing ☺️
summertime is so very productive for good dramas, i myself have a lot on my CW list and this one so far is my favourite, from the visuals, the fighting scenes, and why not, the chemistry. immortal Ascension is my nnextfavourite, quite surprisingly as not my usual genre (too much fantasy) but as well great fighting and i like the male lead very focused on what he wants to achieve.
Mee toHe is a great actor in all aspects, he has a strong charisma that grabs attention and he looks very handsome…
it got better here, it is definitelly on the athletic side, but more of a kick feet than sword fight (historical dramas) 😁😁 he has a long list of dramas upcoming ( checking on his profile), so hopefully some longer ones 😊😊
is this not the same title as The Legend of Heroes from 2024 ? if so, it wpuld be better for MDL to remove one title to avoid confusion. perhaps amend the one from 2024 from 60 to 30 episodes.. just saying...

it would be a good idea if MDL could remove this title here as very confusing.the 2024 drama of 30 episodes should stay , and should also keep the 4 mini dramas aired this year.for some reason MDL are adding so many extra titles like this one, just adding on confusion and duplication of titles. 🫣

agree with you. A viewer must take a drama as a tv series, even when adapted from a novel. i understand it might be a bonus to be close to a novel, but viewer should expect a different type of experience.
perhaps productions should re-word how they describe a novel based drama as "inspired by ..." which makes it obvious that it won't be the same as.
nice review, thank you 😊 i disnt know this drama was so deep.. i will add it to my watch list now. what you say is so true, and unfortunatey we live in a selfish generation, not trained to endure but to let go, sometimes too quickly, for the sake of avoiding what they keep describing as toxic relationship (a misinterpreted word used too often and too easily nowadays), as they call it. and i am not talking toxis as in abusive, but toxic as someone who simply doesnt make you 'feel good' i hear of friends and in articles about the wellbeing advising people to avoid and to get rid of people too easily, including family members... ME, myself and my happiness comes always first, meaning we ditch friends and family members easily, in the name of achieving our own real peace and happiness.. i find this very sad and a rappresentation of nowadays 'happy' lonely planet...
