Looks like it..... I am really enjoying, main story as well as the side stories... at the moment I don't know if his father loves or hates ML... its such a complex relation. At times, I feel he admires him and let him get away with his retorts. Usually the emperor's doesn't tolerate that... ! The way he colorfully explained to his eunuch, "it doesn't matter anyone agrees to his sister's wedding, he doesn't approve and he will try to stop even by killing Jingshi, if I force him, he might even go so far as to burn down my palace without hesitation." I see a lot of admiration in those words .....ROFL...! just started ep 18...
Same way... his sister frustrates me to the end, then I feel, she is brought up silly and pampered, clueless to way of the world. Then this "knight in shining armor" saved her when she thought its the end of her life. Its very natural for her to fall for him and she is young and silly so thinks she can change him.... thought if she strip down he might jump on her and everything will be alright..... rofl!!! sad but facts of protected life...!

I am just on ep 5, so far all and everything is going crazy mad.... both the leads killing each other...slicing, poking, biting..... its a scene of a vampire drama..... but i am liking it.. esp the ML, I always thought of him to be pretty young and fragile looking to do this kind of role.... so I am impressed!... Li Qin I have seen her from Princess Agent... very good actress... She was an assassin in "The Song of Glory" with Qin Hao.. she was really good...! Chen He Yi I first saw him as a gentle sweet cute ML in "Summer Again" then he was an persistent villain in "the Princess Royal" So I can so see him being evil here again.... The costumes are so vibrant....seriously enrich the drama.... I love those blues ML wears.... !! I think The Emperor cares about him in his way... want him to be strong... but very weird way of doing it..... usually they get flogged for talking back in court... which he is not doing it to the ML... All this from my 5episodes... view....lol!!!
Medicine girl's life FL saved... thats why she is getting involved... she doesnt know FL is equally dark in her ways....like the ML. Soon hopefully she will have her eyes wide open... seeing it soon...! She is tooo silly to constantly interfere...!! I dont know why ML is not knocking her off....lol!!!
