The drama is good, towards the end there is a scene were both the leads sit on the swing and talk... it was really awesome for me, btw in the recommendations, i really liked ASoL. I feel JinMai 's script selections are pretty good....! and she is a good actress. Also I liked the cousin brother he was such a little sunshine with laughing eyes - Fin Hann, I have seen him as young FanXian in Joy of Life when he was just 6years old.... so that was a pleasant surprise..!

In the novel its mentioned, they were not rich initially but worked hard to make their business a success and rich. Actually her mom was really smart and he had a complex so had constant argument.. Then this first love who left him for another man, dropped her husband when NC became rich pretending to be sick and need help... that uplifted his ego.. and started taking care... I dont think he doesnt know the facts... but he is just boosting his ego..
His wife couldn't his nonsense so she divorced him. He will never marry this first love.. bcoz deep inside he knows when he was down she left him for another looser....lol! but they are made for each other..

Actually its just not possible for them to have a romance fast, without she clears off her first love issues, and his misunderstanding in his heart, that she is this cold person who called him to meet and after his accident left him loose his profession never once visited him in hospital. Which will take sometime to clear.... so drama is very well paced...!!

Its a good thing she is too dumb, otherwise too much time wasted on her schemes...!

He deserves that.. for leaving his wife and daughter for this floozy...!!

After the friend's wedding ZX and RR had a talk on the bridge... where he said.. I used to believe you always and I have paid a price for believing you.... then all those scenes were shown... they grew up together and were good friends, so naturally you will believe them more than the new girl whom you just met.. plus even his brother was telling everything instigated by RR... she is a horrible person... like he said.. its nothing to do with him... for RR, XG is an imaginary enemy.

And all the while i was thinking.. the guy can really talk and explain everything ... but when it comes to XG he was not sure ... Yes he had feelings.. but he was suspicious so didn't know what to believe... confused person..

Our man, ML is on another level, He met her few years back, at some family elder's birthday and fell madly for her.... then many things happened/ he blame her for his accident initially/ later on all those misunderstanding will be cleared.
His every action is very well planned to pursue her, even coming to the branch where XG works... !!

its sooo exhausting... This drama doesnt need a scheming SFL or MiL.... just ZX is enough.

You are not the only one, there is constant lamenting going on here, every time he appears on screen. The first 4 episodes were gifted to him to win a girl... but he failed miserably... every time he opens his mouth.. nothing good comes out... he also has a complex bcoz of the family gap... plus she is a little sunshine and he is total thundercloud... no way they can match.....lol!!! he was nasty not pitiful... !!

Why XG liked ZX? well you remember when she was with her cousin.. and they were expecting a tutor... and Jiang Rui pushed her to go and open the door... and he looked good for a young girl just starting uni it was dazzled at the first look... then she went and asked him to be her BF and he refused... that's the only good thing he ever did....

lol!! seriously... dodged the bullet... are we mean... ? I did feel bad when i saw him in that pouring rain outside Jiang Rui's house asking about their whereabouts...

There is much more ZX.. scenes coming in the next episodes... him being aggressive and handsy.... and later with RR also... trying to frame the FL

Yes, In real life, I might also feel very odd if i confess to someone and they tell me I am not over someone yet.... for all those reasons you said...

But here its a drama, they didnt have any relation or they didn't have a breakup... its just a lot of messed up emotions... and she lost confidence to start another... but at the same time...you know from her every action... she really likes being with LY...!! She is happier whereas it was such a tension.. whenever the other guys was around....

Actually he was very skeptical during the "Not passing the interview message" time, he is the one pulled the phone from her and it was a deadline... and he had that accusing look on him, so he was not siding with her....

Both him and RR really messed her up...
Even when he do something good, half the time she didn't know his intentions... is he doing it as an apology for what RR did to her... He didn't have the guts to say his mind... but tagged her along...
His complex of their family gap.. which makes him talk about high heels and leeching off family..
