I have stopped at ep 24... I am not ready to see them Clouding the glaring issues by end.... yet I am very disappointed with both the main leads agreeing to do such a drab drama.... but I must say.. just the young Main Leads were super cool... she would never take any rubbish from his mother or anyone.... I have down rated it... bcoz initially i was very impressed when the young leads were there... and rated it high....
For everyone who wanted some emotions in this drama to get it from Shuan is like…uhmm, no!!
I think she is emotionally lacking... to stab her best friend in the back and take her child at birth... what bloody emotion, she is the most cold blooded and inhumane character here....

Bcoz it frustrated everyone with the way it went down the emotional drain. or lack of any emotions... Mother loosing child at the childbirth.. leave her partner and goes to Paris to study ballet, comes back after 12 years and find out the child didnt die, but MiL gave the child to ML and told FL abandon her new born child and you, bcoz her career is more important.. ML didnt believe went around looking for her even in Paris... but could find her.. and slowly started having doubts.. After finding the MiL did all this,... there was no reaction from FL other than sat with her for a tea and showed her the DNA report... Now the child is 12 years old, much smarter than all these stupid adults.. knew his mother was a ballet dancer and died at child birth... thats what he was told... so he kinda got close to the FL since she is also a ballet dancer.. We reached till ep 24 and till today she never went to her son, or told him I am your mother.. bcoz she is always thinking, if I tell him maybe he will hate me..... bloody sh.. he might the time of hearing, but he will change.. after he realising all the truth... So these things drag on... and all got so fed up... there is no explosion of emotion.. which is very very essential in this situation... but she floats around like a dazed swan... She grew up with two friends who was with her through and through.. bro and sister.. bro is the SML.. last she came to know... its the best friend, the sister who was the enabler of all these siding with the Mother In Law... still she sat with stupid face... so I stopped at ep 24... been venting ever since... I have to cool myself down to finish it... but I am in no hurry...

And when FL came back after 12 years and realised the child could be alive... did a DNA test.. and she sat having tea with her... with no expression on her.... deadfish....! This is criminal offence.. telling lies and abducting.... Ok what she did till now... just pussyfooting around... such a lousy Mother with absolutely no burning desire to meet her son... she put off meeting at every chance... all she had to do was... just tell him.. the kid is so much mature that any of these lousy characters in this drama...
Now the best friend, she making excuses of "No one Loves me" to tarnish her completely..... and still what is she doing....NOTHING.... that woman should be having a torn mouth by now...from FLs slaps.... instead of shouting and screaming.....

I think in the cast list.. they should give... Wang Yizhou and Zhang Yunqi as the main Lead... bcoz they did a damn good job... not the zombie like adult actors... with no expression or feelings...

Yes... FR could believe his mom being capable of keeping them separated but never expected even his father was in on it. I am just happy FR didn't take after the father... Out of all in his family, I think only grand father is better when compared, he was honest about the wayward son, and told his daughter GH, often to let go of her hatred... in mind.
I saw the clips of Le saying.. I was always open and honest and why did you lie and not tell me you are dating... but I feel he will be alright eventually when he hear what all his mother went through till now.. also how scared she was of his reaction....

In ep 8 she spoke to GH after getting the DNA report, then she keeps going with PeiYan for her wedding preparation.... total waste of time, with no purpose... other than just see FR. We finished ep 20, still the boy doesn't know. Actually I find him to be more mature than anyone else in this drama....

12 years is a long long time to adapt or learning to live with what you lost... so life have changed for both. It's all about learning to live with the loss, not getting "over" it. So the intense reaction we all were expecting wont be there... plus the age matures people.. they are not teenagers any more.. So the story is quite realistic in that aspect... plus FL is too worried about her son's acceptance as he is almost a teenager... 12 years..!!
Also Feng Rui, Le are always shown to have very strong family affections, ties..and brought up by a very strict mother, eccentric you can say, who has very high expectations. Children like that usually grow up subdued... plus the love of his life abandoned him and his kid... which can seriously damage your confidence.... in that aspect FL is a loner, her mother left her and her father... so she grew up with father he too left her and disappeared... so she survived alone...
I always wondered how TS left FR and went to France, I thought GH Schemed something or forced her... now we know its that stupid father of ML talked her or guilt tripped her... just bcoz he betrayed his poor girl friend and married to slavery... bending to please his wife...who always tell him... outsiders should stay out of her family affairs.... sheesh! Its a good decision for three of them to stay far away from this toxic lot.

Gao Hui.... her eye brows drawn up in disdain.. says everything about her...! She walks around confident that her ways, thinking is the right thing. She knows best...!
Her best friend.... her karma is waiting to burst on her head...!
And now it seems like she's an addict of something and her brother is her drug dealer lol
I think the lip balm or gloss.... is just something to smooth her feathers ... make her feel my brother think about me... the little brother was such a player...He knew he could do anything and his sis will clean up....

IMO.... I think 12 years is a long long time, and they are not that young lovers who were so confident of weathering any storm anymore... now they are older and not sure what the time and distance have done to each other, will have doubts and lack of confidence in each other's feeling. Did she/he moved on?... forgot me ? or still loves me? that fear is there...
FL had gone through terrible times and came back a renowned Ballerina, she is very composed, but seeing him brought back a lot of loving memories.. and that he opened winery where they both decided to do and named it as she suggested.. must have impacted her. She still loves him, but can do without him and his family and the dramas involved... I don't think she will jump at the chance to get back. Knowing her child is still alive .. her whole attention shifted to him.. rest of them are less important. According to her they all are in together and betrayed her ... She went along with his wedding plan etc.. is so puzzling to me... what is that all about...?Either she still very strongly loves him and like seeing him... just to see what happened to her boyfriend. But when PeiYan send her an invitation... she was broken to accept he is goin to be with someone else. Hopefully with all the alcohol she gulped she muster some courage and talk to him... (as per ep 15 trailer) .
ML... loved her so much he stood very firmly against his mother at every step and told her he will marry FL when she was pregnant. they lived together, in her state of pregnancy she did have arguments of what about her career and dreams .. So MiL schemed the problem in the office and prolonged it.. like clients were not signing contract... till she got rid of the FL, suddenly everything fell in place .. and when He came rushing back.. he could doubt the situation bcoz of the previous discussion they had. But him going to look for her..in France is another scheme of MiL.. I feel. But this totally disillusioned him... he just went on concentrating on the child... you can see he is just a shadow of the younger version of him.. with no zest...!
Lack of confidence is stopping them from approaching each other... Its a very normal thing in real life... hopefully things will get better from today's episodes... one they know the truth ..things will/should happen...

Ep 14, FL got the the invitation from PeiYan for the wedding.. and she was totally shaken, and drinks at the sponsors dinner.. same place ML is having his Thank you dinner after wine tasting... and episode ending with him walked out to take a call and saw her gulping down alcohol one after another...!
