The true culprit in the series was Mari's own husband, Yanagisawa Takashi (Ohashi Goro). After Takashi admitted he killed his wife, he decides to silence Asako and Junko by killing both of them. After Asako was cornered by Takashi while he holding a knife, Junko prevents him while he heard police sirene. After that, Takashi chases Asako and as he try to kill her, Junko protects her while she was stabbed and sacrifices her life. The police then arrived with Asako's husband, Kyohei. When Kyohei are about to arrest Takashi, he resists by swinging the knife toward him, then slashes Kyohei's hand. Kyohei responded with hitting Takashi's hand who holding the knife to the place sign three times until his knife dropped, and eventually handcuffed, arresting him for murder.
Fun fact: Takashi was unaccepted after he accidentially killed his own accomplice, Junko, who tries to protect Asako. As he about to finish Asako off, the police arrives.

Koji then take out a knife to finish them off. As Koji almost approaches them, Yukie's husband, Koichi, is screaming to snatch the knife from Koji. When Yukie are about to stops Koji, Yuri prevents both her and Natsuko, and they both pushing each other. Koji swinging his knife, then attacks Koichi, which causes his arm being injured. As the police arrives, Yuri hurriedly protects herself behind Koji, who feeling scared for getting arrested. Suddenly, Koji pushes Yuri to the police and she was immediately arrested, while Koji escapes. As Koji escapes, he being chased by police helicopter to ask him surrender, but he still running away. The armed police arrived to Koji, who then was eventually arrested while smiling.

Shiho says after Maiko was dead, Takaomi writes the word "good-bye" at her neck. Later, Takaomi dumps the body to the forest. Takaomi says he doing that for Miyuki. At that night, he abducts Miyuki by electrocutes at her, then tied her. Takaomi asked Miyuki for Kinoshita Wakana (Shibuya Asuka) whereabouts, she says that she is in Setagaya. After thanking to Miyuki, but Takaomi stabbed at her instead, then he dumps the body at the forest. Later Wakana told to Takaomi that she had plastic surgery on her face and was pretending to be someone else. After Takaomi confesses everything, he takes out the knife in order to stab Shiho, but suddenly Kosaka arrives and snatches the knife from him, then releases Shiho. As a result, Takaomi was arrested for murder.
