This drama is just too good. If you are doubting, don't!

PROS:
- it's serious without being unnecessarily heavy and intense
- you will laugh, get annoyed and cry with the siblings
- The third sister and her man were the ultimate couple in my opinion! The way he was always so considerate of her and her feelings!!!!!!!!
- It is a good showcase of real life and real problems and how people properly deal with situations

CONS:
- none unless you like to watch non slice of life dramas

This would have been better if it was at least 10 episodes shorter

Yeah, I think it wasn't my cup of tea. I do understand why you and many other like the drama. I LOVED the all the actors and their performance was stellar. It was the story that threw me off. The ending didn't help tbh

I finished it but... still didn't move me

16 episodes in and I am still finding it hard to get into the drama the way others have. Like it's decent but bruh, it is not awesome in my opinion and view.

Also I can't stop laughing during the "emotional" parts when Xu kai's character is crying. He is a great actor, don't get me wrong, but the main leads love story doesn't do anything for me lol.

Yuemi (Luo Qiu Yun) on the other hand!! I love her!

Maybe it will get better. I'm holding out hope because I know a good majority of the actors in this drama and they have all ever acted in really good dramas.

EDIT: So I finished it and my lord was it what I was expecting. The main story actually started in episode 17 and honestly it got better, Their "immortal life" story was better than their " God life" story.

HOWEVER, I was still bored out of my mind because the story didn't seem to be going anywhere. I ended up skipping from I think episode 20-something to episode 40-something and still got the gist of what happened without feeling the need to go back and actually watch.

And let me not get started on the sudden "happy ending". With the way the story was written, that ending doesn't make sense. A bittersweet ending would have fit better.

Overall 7/10 at best in MY opinion

Honestly I understand where you are coming from. There were a lot of annoying moments. Maybe I was too engrossed in how well the FL acted her character. It is really hard to play a naive character that isn't overly annoying or the naivity isn't just acting plain stupid.

I watched this after I finished Shanai Marriage Honey and they are both really nice calm fluffy dramas on spontaneous marriages. This was very interesting and the FL was awesome in this role! She was naive without being annoyingly naive. Because of this drama I'll probably read the webtoon and follow the FL's dramas

This is probably the best feel good J drama I have watched. It's so relaxing and actually addresses how good communication and listening could be vey helpful to a marriage.

20 episodes in and still finding it difficult to get into the drama. Production is great but finding it difficult to actually fully enjoy the story. Don't know why

This drama took cliche asian drama a bit too seriously, but it wasn't terrible. A decent 7/10

I was hoping to the heavens she ended up with the teacher who she tutored in high school.

Even the whole “cousin-love” is very weird and gives me “sweet home Alabama” vibes

I don’t know why people are okay looking past the fact that she met him when he was 16/17 and started dating him when he was 17/18 when she is 32/33.

Pedophilia is not “romantic” but that’s just me

Maybe i had too high expectations for this but I found it pretty boring. Not terrible either. Like a 7 or 7.5

I really want to see Mark and Bella act together again. I never watched this because of the Ghost relationship but it was better than my expectations.

The dramatic parts are dramatic, the funny parts are funny! Surprisingly I liked it more than I thought I would

The ghost part wasn’t actually real. It was actually all part of Zhaohua’s plan. She is definitely like her mum but obviously still had so much to learn to be on the same level as Wei Yung Luo.

This was just..... not good. Not bad but not good either. Couldn’t watch past 3 episodes. Didn’t have a plot. Probably great for people who like a drama playing in the background
